    Sales Administration Clerk

    • Our client, operating within the timber manufacturing industry, is seeking a suitably qualified Sales Administration Clerk to provide accurate administrative and customer service support to the sales department.
    • The successful candidate will report to the Sales Manager.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Capture, process and reconcile sales orders and dispatches accurately.
    • Maintain organised and up-to-date sales records, filing and documentation.
    • Liaise professionally with customers regarding orders, deliveries and queries.

    Role Overview

    • We are seeking an experienced MEP Draughtsman to prepare accurate mechanical, electrical and plumbing drawings for construction and development projects.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare and revise detailed MEP drawings using CAD software.
    • Interpret engineering specifications, blueprints and technical documents.
    • Ensure drawings comply with project requirements, industry standards and regulations.

    • Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Buyer and Office Administrator to manage the procurement of parts, consumables and services for its mechanical workshop while providing essential administrative support.
    • The successful candidate will source quality products at competitive prices, manage supplier relationships, maintain accurate inventory and procurement records, and support the workshop’s daily administrative requirements.
    • The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation and organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and purchasing experience within a mechanical, engineering, automotive, manufacturing or industrial environment.

    Key Responsibilities
    Procurement and Purchasing

    • Source and purchase mechanical parts, components, consumables, tools and workshop supplies.

    SHEQ Officer

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Assist with the implementation and monitoring of OHS Act and related regulations
    • Conduct workplace inspections and report hazards and non-conformances
    • Assist in incident, accident and near-miss investigations and corrective actions
    • Support risk assessments, HIRA, and safe work procedures
    • Coordinate and monitor PPE compliance
    • Assist with contractor safety management and inductions
    • Participate in Safety Committee meetings

    Environmental

    • Min 3 Years related experience in systems, compliance and auditing in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety Act
    • Exposure to manufacturing or industrial environments preferred

    • Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport

    • We are recruiting a suitably qualified and experienced Fitter for an established sawmilling operation. The successful candidate will report to the Maintenance Manager.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on plant and ancillary equipment.
    • Install new plant and machinery.
    • Record completed work accurately on job cards.
    • Maintain high housekeeping and safety standards.
    • Perform overtime and standby duties as required.

    Requirements
    Minimum Requirements

    • Matric or NTC 3.
    • Fitter and Turner Trade Test with a Red Seal Certificate, or equivalent skills and relevant experience.
    • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in a sawmilling environment.
    • Wetmill experience will be advantageous.
    • Strong experience with hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, conveyors, gearboxes, belt drives and chain drives.
    • Experience with frame saws, bandsaws, drum chippers and debarkers.
    • Proven welding experience.
    • Medically fit and of sober habits.
    • Valid Code EB driver’s licence and own transport.
    • Willing to work irregular hours, overtime, weekends and standby duties.
    • Able to speak, read and write English; isiXhosa will be advantageous.
