    Your responsibilities

    Compliance

    • Monitor and assess site operations to ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.

    • Support the development, review, and implementation of quality and compliance-related procedures.

    Audit & Regulatory Support

    The experience we're looking for

    • A formal degree or diploma in BSc Science, Pharmaceuticals, Food Science, ND: Food Technology, Biotechnology, Analytical Chemistry
    • 4-6 years’ experience in QMS of Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals and/or FMCG industry
    • Experience with audits, QMS platforms, and regulatory environments
    • Lead Auditor Experience preferred

    QC Lab Supervisor

    About the role

    • Reckitt is looking for a dedicated QC Lab Supervisor to help us uphold our commitment to deliver excellence in our diverse portfolio. You'll be part of a dynamic team, ensuring Supervise the required sampling and analysis of Finished Goods (FG), Raw Materials (RM) and Bulk Intermediate (BI) according to the respective sampling plans and TDS specifications and ensure adherence to cGMP and GLP
    • Oversee the Finished Goods and Raw Material Release processes by managing the analysis, allocation of samples, prioritizing analysis where applicable and releasing or rejecting product and material within stipulated timelines.
    • Maintain and adhere to the requirements of internal and external standards (RB/ ISO), Good Laboratory, Good Data Integrity and Good Documentation practices during analysis and generation of analytical results.

    Your responsibilities

    • Ensure that non-conforming parameters/ product/ results are reported to the QC Manager and that investigations to validate/ invalidate out-of-specification results are performed.
    • Ensuring compliance to the relevant SOP’s GLP and cGMP as well as monitoring of key performance indicators (KPI’s) for quality, safety, wastage, variances and any non-conformance, and ensuring that these are kept up to date.
    • Ensure that all laboratory equipment are maintained appropriately and that calibrations and performance verifications of equipment are performed at the required frequencies to ensure that equipment used provide consistent and reliable results.
    • Manage, prepare and standardize reagents used during analysis to ensure that they are within validity periods and are of the correct potency and purity to ensure reliable results are obtained.
    • Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are adhered to in the laboratory and that any deviations from the approved processes are reported to the QC Manager.
    • Ensure that results generated are effectively reviewed prior to any positive release taking place.
    • Adhere to release timelines for FG, RM and BI to prevent delays to the production process and mitigate any out-of-stock situations that may arise.
    • Facilitate rejection of any non-conforming material or product from QC
    • Identify areas of continuous improvement within the QC laboratory and execute such projects to improve processes, efficiency and compliance.
    • Maintain good housekeeping standards and adhere to all health and safety requirements within the laboratory and the Reckitt manufacturing facility. This includes the management of waste and ensuring a “place for everything and everything in its place” approach to housekeeping.
    • Manage the day-to-day running of the laboratory to ensure its efficient operation, including inventory management and purchasing of reagents and consumables.
    • Report deviations to the QC Manager and liaise with suppliers to address all deviations by implementing appropriate CAPA.
    • Trending of Supplier deviations and monitoring data to identify trends that may require CAPA 
    • Ordering of consumables and items required for QC.

    The experience we're looking for

    • BSc Degree / National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field
    • Experience in Quality FMCG or within a GMP-regulated environment is valuable.
    • Strong project management skills and the ability to resolve problems creatively.
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a focused and pressured environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to influence, work within a team, and show relentless commitment.
