    Commercial Operations Manager

    Job Description

    • We’re seeking a Commercial Operations Manager to optimise performance, drive efficiencies, and support sustainable growth.
    • This role is based in our Contract Logistics division in JHB.

    Education

    • Matric
    • 3 years Supply Chain Management/Logistics at NQF level 7 or higher

    Knowledge and experience

    • 10 years in Supply Chain Management role
    • 5 years management/ supervisory experience in supply chain environment
    • Excellent negotiation and communication skills for high-value contracts.
    • Leadership and team management experience.
    • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret market trends and data.
    • Problem-solving and adaptability in dynamic business environments.
    • Interpersonal skills
    • Good communication skills (written &verbal)
    • Planning and organising
    • Ability to handle pressure and change
    • Attention to detail
    • Commitment to excellent customer service
    • Current management practice and theory
    • Strategic thinking

    Import Controller

    Job Description

    • If managing imports, coordinating freight, and ensuring compliance is your strength, you could be our next Import Controller - Multimodal
    • This role is based at either Head Office - Linbro Park(JHB) OR in PE at our Pharma division.

    Education

    • Matric
    • 1-year freight forwarding related qualification at NQF level 3 and 4

    Knowledge and experience

    • Minimum of 5 years import controlling experience in the Clearing and Forwarding Industry with proven track record of end-to-end process execution
    • Incoterms 2020 and Geographic locations
    • Knowledge of commercial, transport, carrier & depot and statutory body documents & stamps
    • Sound knowledge of seafreight and airfreight shipment types.
    • Sound knowledge of claims/insurance processes.
    • Knowledge and interpretation of rate structure
    • National currencies and international codes
    • CargoWise experience would be beneficial
    • Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and Outlook)
    • Good Interpersonal skills and good communication skills (written &verbal)
    • Situation analysis and problem solving
    • Client orientation
    • Accuracy, Punctual and attention to detail
    • Time Management. Deadline Driven
    • Ability to work in pressurised environment
