    Production-SAP Coordinator

    To provide SAP Super User support to Production personnel.

    • Ensure Reservations for Production Consumptions are posted by Production Departments
    • Drafting work instructions on the utilization of SAP
    • Investigating and analyzing Production variances
    • Identifying problem coils and rectifying the issue
    • Scrap and by-product corrections as required
    • Designing new reports
    • Monitoring and correcting Failed Reversals during Production Execution
    • Assisting users with SAP-related inquiries
    • Troubleshoot SAP issues and provide guidance on system functionality.
    • Material Management (MM) support
    • Compiling, Analysing and Reporting Production Related BI Reports
    • Drive safety, housekeeping and stock management per SAP location
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives as directed by the Operations leadership team
    • Training of production personnel on SAP as when required
    • Supporting and taking an active leading role in stock take preparation for production.
    • Prepare monthly reports for the HoD
    • Lead digitization initiatives for operations
    • Interaction with SAP analysts on SAP updates and newly introduced features to be rolled out in the operations

    Requirements

    • Minimum academic qualification: Operations Management and IT related qualification e.g. SAP certification would be an added advantage
    • Minimum work experience: 3 Years in a production environment. Deep understanding of coil processing plant operations in general. Ability to work with people is critical at different levels of the organization.

    Assistant-Safety Health Risk Officer

    • Provide an administrative support within the Safety department and working closely with other departments within the business by ensuring safety compliance is adhered to.
    • Support the implementation of health and safety policies, standards, and procedures across the organization.
    • Ensure adherence to company safety policies and industry regulations.
    • Perform regular safety inspections and assist with audits to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Identify potential hazards and suggest corrective actions to address safety risks.
    • Assist in developing and conducting emergency response drills and training.
    • Act as part of the emergency response team during incidents and coordinate initial actions with the Safety Manager.
    • Record and report safety incidents, near-misses, and injuries.
    • Support the investigation of incidents to identify root causes and recommend preventive measures.
    • Help conduct safety training sessions and toolbox talks for employees.
    • Promote safety awareness and best practices within the organization.
    • Ensure proper documentation of safety inspections, training sessions, incident reports, and safety audits.
    • Maintain an up-to-date record of all safety equipment and supplies.
    • Assist in the distribution and management of personal protective equipment (PPE) to employees.
    • Ensure compliance with PPE policies and monitor PPE usage among staff.

    Requirements

    • Minimum Qualification: Education: Matric- Grade 12 or equivalent
    • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Fire Officer, Fire Inspector, or Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Certification preferred.
    • Experience: 3+ years of experience in fire safety, risk management, or a similar role in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
    • Knowledge: Familiarity with local fire and safety codes, emergency response procedures, and risk assessment practices.

    Fire and Risk Officer

    Description

    • Provide an Emergency and Firefighting and preventions service. Safety provision and support in conjunction with the site Safety Officer.

    Fire Safety and Prevention

    • Develop and implement fire safety protocols and emergency response plans in line with organizational and regulatory standards.
    • Conduct regular fire risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend mitigation measures.
    • Coordinate fire drills, training sessions, and fire safety awareness programs for all staff members.
    • Emergency Response
    • Serve as the primary responder for fire-related incidents and ensure effective coordination of emergency response teams.
    • Ensure fire extinguishers, alarm systems, sprinklers, and other firefighting equipment are regularly inspected,maintained, and meet safety standards.
    • Develop and maintain emergency evacuation plans and procedures, ensuring clear communication and training for staff.
    • Risk Assessment and Management
    • Identify potential workplace hazards and conduct risk assessments for fire and other safety threats.
    • Collaborate with the HSE team to develop control measures, implement safety improvements, and reduce risks.
    • Evaluate existing safety protocols and recommend updates in line with current best practices and compliance requirements.
    • Compliance and Reporting
    • Ensure compliance with local fire safety regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies.
    • Maintain accurate records of fire safety activities, including inspection logs, risk assessment reports, and training records.
    • Prepare and present fire and risk assessment reports, incident investigations, and safety audit findings to management.

    Requirements

    • Minimum Qualification: Education: Matric- Grade 12 or equivalent

    Certification:

    • Firefighter I & II certification (NFPA or equivalent).
    • Fire Officer I certification (NFPA or equivalent).
    • Certification in CPR, First Aid, and Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is often required.
    • Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations certification.
    • Additional certifications, such as Fire Instructor or Fire Inspector, are advantageous
