Key Responsibility Areas

Qualifications and Experience 

• Minimum: 3- Year Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in ICT/Audit/LAW 
• Experience: 5-6 years’ experience/exposure in ICT services/industry, with at least 3 years’ experience in implementation of the Firearms Control Act and its regulations, Exposure to the work of the Central Firearms Registry ,Knowledge of the South African Police Services firearms systems.

Key Responsibility Areas 

• Design and planning of all services and solutions relating to the Core Server Infrastructure and Directory services.
• The formulation of procedures and standards for Directory integrated sytems, Servers and related services. 
• Infrastructure preparation.
• To manage, maintain and monitor core IT infrastructure services. Reporting and Communication. 

 Qualifications and Experience 

• Minimum: 3-year National Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology/NQF level 6. 
• Certification: MCSE/ MCITP/ MCSA 
• Experience: 3 - 5 years’ experience in Server Administration and at least one-year experience in the provision and support of core Server Infrastructure and associated services.

Key Responsibility Areas 

• Plan and implement infrastructure 
• Oversee the maintenance of the network infrastructure 
• Perform incident management and attend to escalated requests by Network engineers to ensure that service level agreements are met 
• Supervision of staff.

Qualifications and Experience 

• Required Qualification: minimum 3-year National Diploma or Degree in IT related field (Computer Science, Information Technology/Engineering, BCom etc). Certification in CCNA/CCNP/HCIA/HCNP expiry irrelevant. 
• Experience: 5 – 6 years practical experience in Wide Area Network (WAN), Network topology, Network Design, Application Layer and routing protocols.

Key Responsibility Areas 

• Lead the design and development of new features for the software systems, and improvement of the existing ones; 
• Implementation, debugging, documentation and release of the software solutions; 
• Provide maintenance and enhancement support of the existing systems; 
• Perform software systems coding assignments; and 
• Supervision of the Software development team. 

 Qualifications and Experience 

Minimum:

• 3 years National Higher Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in ICT (Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology and Engineering) or related field. 

Experience:

•  6-7 years’ experience with full software development lifecycle (SLDC), including solution development, operational responsibility in a large corporate/public sector organisation.

The experience must include:

• Experience in solution analysis, and development for the development, implementation and maintenance/enhancements of systems within the corporate/public sector
• Successfully developed and implemented applications
• Software development team leadership competency Software development deliverable effort planning, estimations and execution management
• Developed efficient and effective IT solutions to diverse and complex business problems.
• Extensive experience with a wide variety of database management systems and maintenance.
• Extensive experience with a wide variety of programming languages and technologies.
• Extensive experience with working on multiple tasks and report status.
• Experience in interacting with customers.

Key Responsibility Areas 

• Effectively applies programme management principles to Initiate and plan the programme. 
• Direct and manage programme execution to ensure successful delivery of the programme and subsidiary projects. 
• Plan and optimize the effective utilization of resources throughout the programme. 
• Consolidate monitor and control programme and subsidiary project’s work to ensure successful delivery of the programme's objectives within budget, scope, time and quality according to plan. Including integrated change control and configuration management. 
• Consolidate, monitor and control costs and revenue to ensure the delivery of the programme and subsidiary projects within budget and profitability guidelines. 
• Perform quality control of programme. 
• Consolidate, monitor and report programme performance. 
• Conduct good portfolio governance, including configuration management, contracting, governance meetings, risk management, issue.  

Qualifications and Experience 

Minimum:

• 3-year National Diploma / Degree in a relevant discipline - at least NQF level 6. Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Prince 2 Practitioner and/or Programme Management Professional (PgMP) and/or Advanced Practitioner (MSP – Managing Successful Programmes) will be advantageous. 

Experience: A minimum of 8 - 10 years working experience, including expertise in: 

• At least 4 years in a leadership role in a complex project management or programme management environment 
• At least 4 years Project/Programme management experience as Snr Project /Programme Manager 
• At least 4 years working experience in an IT environment and 
• At least 4 years in public sector IT environment.

 Qualifications and Experience 

Minimum: 

• 3 Year National Diploma / Degree in Business Management/ Project management / Information Technology/ Computer Science or equivalent (at least NQF Level 6). 
• Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Prince 2 Practitioner Certification and/or Agile PM Practitioner will be an added advantage. 

Experience: A minimum of 5 – 6 years working experience, including: 

• At least 3 years Project management experience, 
• At least 3 years working experience in an IT environment and 
• At least 3 years in public sector IT environment.
