    TECH Supply Specialist

    Key Roles and Responsibilities:

    Project Management and Implementation

    • Plan, manage and deliver Supply technology projects (MES, SCADA, OT infrastructure, data and reporting) across breweries in the Africa Zone, from scoping through to handover.
    • Develop project scopes, delivery plans and timelines, tracking milestones, dependencies and critical path across multiple concurrent site rollouts.
    • Prepare and motivate CAPEX and OPEX submissions, including business cases and value cases, and manage delivery against approved budgets and forecasts.
    • Manage System Integrators and vendors through the project lifecycle, ensuring standards adherence, scope control, quality of delivery and commercial compliance.
    • Execute deployment of Supply technology standards and platforms (OneTech, OneMES, Omnia, TrakSys, SODA, FLOW and the data backbone) at site and regional level in line with Zone roadmaps.
    • Support the Manufacturing Systems teams with software deployment, licensing administration and version control as part of project rollout.
    • Apply Manufacturing Systems change control practices and standards adherence throughout project delivery.
    • Support OT and Manufacturing IT governance requirements within projects, including cybersecurity posture, network segmentation and remediation actions.

    Project Adoption and Value Realisation

    • Plan and organise structured user training at site level for affected personnel, including training schedules, materials and competency verification.
    • Coach and upskill site teams to build sustainable local capability and reduce dependency on Zone and vendor support.
    • Conduct post-implementation reviews and hypercare, identifying adoption gaps and driving corrective action plans with site leadership.
    • Define and track adoption metrics for deployed platforms (usage, data completeness, transaction compliance, KPI coverage) at each site post go-live.
    • Own the post-project value realisation cycle: baseline, measure and report benefits against the approved value case.
    • Report adoption and benefit performance to Zone Tech Supply and Supply leadership, with clear recommendations where value is not being realised.
    • Drive standardisation of ways-of-working across sites so that benefits are repeatable and scalable across the Zone.

    Business Support

    • Provide zone support for brewery manufacturing systems (MES, SCADA, historians, reporting layers, data acquisition) to ensure
    • maximum equipment and system availability, both for newly delivered projects and previously rolled-out platforms.
    • Act as escalation point for site teams on Manufacturing Systems issues, coordinating resolution with contractors, vendors and global
    • product teams.
    • Deliver and maintain reporting, dashboard and application development solutions to brewery and Zone requirements, e.g. FLOW,
    • SSRS and Grafana.
    • Support data and analytics capability for Supply (performance, efficiency, quality and cost reporting), e.g. SQL, DB Maintenance,
    • APIs, OPC UA.

    Key Attributes and Competencies:

    • Project management capability: scoping, scheduling, budget and risk control.

    Utilities Process Artisan - Newlands Brewery

    Key Roles and Responsibilities:
    Operating & Process Control

    • Operating the process area according to the work instructions and adhering to usage standards
    • Carrying out the required quality checks as described in the quality control and analysis work practice
    • Recording waste on the appropriate documentation or information systems, and reviewing waste trends to identify problems or opportunities timeously
    • Constantly reviewing process performance against target, and completing all short interval control documentation
    • Responding rapidly to upstream or downstream triggers that result in stoppages
    • Appropriate problem-solving approaches, as detailed in the problem-solving work practice must be followed
    • Performing housekeeping tasks, applying 5s principles and following safe work practices

    Communication

    Maintenance of Plant & Equipment

    • Carry out in depth cleaning, lubrication and inspection of machines according to the work instructions, and following the schedules supplied by the maintenance planner
    • Carrying out routine maintenance activities according to the maintenance schedule. Where routine maintenance reveals larger problems, and the process artisan is unable to resolve these, it must be escalated to the team leader
    • Taking part in maintenance and cleaning days
    • This must be done in support of maintenance specialist support
    • Monitoring trends when conducting routine maintenance
    • Where trends indicate the existence of underlying problems, corrective action must be Quality Control and Analyses taken
    • This corrective action may involve the SBU, the maintenance controller or maintenance support
    • When operating, the process artisan must carry out the non-destructive quality checks and analyses
    • The list of checks to be carried out are contained in the work instructions
    • Recording the results of quality checks on the relevant documentation or information system
    • Where production does not meet quality standards the process artisan must try to identify and resolve problems using the appropriate techniques
    • If they are unable to resolve the problem themselves, it must be escalated to the team leader for further direction

    Problem Solving

    • When problems occur, applying the appropriate techniques (e.g. 5y, quick fix routines etc.) the identify and correct the problem
    • Where the process artisan is unable to resolve the problem, involve fellow team members or escalate to the team leader if necessary
    • Where problems have been resolved, verify that the problems have been eliminated
    • Continuous Improvement Using run/control charts and trend analysis, to identify sources of waste and variation in the process
    • Using short stop analysis, Pareto charts and other tools seek to identify opportunities to simplify activities
    • Where improvement opportunities have been identified, these must be recorded on the team gap list
    • The process artisan should involve other team members in evaluating opportunities and call-in specialist resources to assist if required.

    Inventory Analyst - SAB Queenstown Depot

    Key Roles & Responsibilities:

    FG Quality Management

    • FG Inventory quality fundamental standards are adhered to as per DPO & VPO requirements 
    • FG Inventory accurately blocked in SAP with physical blocking mechanism in place as per VPO/DPO standards for quality related & obsolescence stock

    • 3 Point independent checks are conducted on all T1 & T2 shipments for departure & arrival

    Minimum Requirements:

    MRP Zone Specialist

    Brewing Engineer - Chamdor Brewery

    Asset Care

    • Partake in the development of the asset care plan for the brewing, contributing suggestions and providing expert advice
