    Distribution Planning & Analytics Manager

    • To plan and track routes using market-leading planning and route adherence software, ensuring efficiency, cost optimisation, and alignment with strategic supply chain objectives. The role combines advanced technical capability, analytical depth, and operational insight.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    • Master route management: Maintain master routes (sequence, customer allocation, frequency changes, vehicle/driver assignment, workload balancing).
    • System health: Ensure accuracy of system data through exception management, onboarding of new delivery points, and continuous feedback.
    • Operational reporting: Generate daily adherence reports, monthly KPI scorecards, and performance analysis.
    • Cost optimisation: Identify inefficiencies and propose data-driven cost reduction initiatives.
    • Strategic optimisation: Fleet mix design, service-day modelling, master route optimisation, and long-term network planning.

    Competencies

    Industrial Engineer

    • To improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and performance across the end-to-end customer-supplier distribution value chain. The Industrial Engineer will analyze and optimize distribution processes, drive standardization, and implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service levels, reduce logistics costs, and strengthen collaboration between suppliers, internal teams, and customers

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    Process Optimization & Efficiency Improvement

    • Conduct time and motion studies, process mapping, and root cause analysis to identify inefficiencies in warehouse, transport, and order fulfilment processes.
    • Design and implement lean distribution processes, layout improvements, and route optimization models.
    • Evaluate inbound and outbound logistics flows for continuous improvement opportunities.

    Data Analysis & Performance Monitoring

    • Analyze distribution performance data (e.g., OTIF, lead times, capacity utilization, vehicle turnaround times) to identify trends and deviations.
    • Develop models and simulations to test improvements before implementation.
    • Track and report cost savings and efficiency gains.

    Standardization & Best Practices

    • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for distribution operations (loading, unloading, stock handling, transport planning).
    • Benchmark internal performance against industry best practices and drive adoption across teams and suppliers.

    Project Management & Continuous Improvement

    • Lead or support logistics and customer service improvement projects using Six Sigma, Lean, or Kaizen methodologies.
    • Drive value stream mapping and end-to-end process alignment across customer-supplier interfaces.
    • Facilitate cross-functional workshops and manage change initiatives across supply chain partners.
    • Partner with internal customers and vendors / partners on end to end cost improvement initiatives

    Capacity Planning & Network Optimization

    • Support warehouse layout design, slotting, system and space utilization studies.
    • Assist in transport fleet optimization and last-mile delivery planning.
    • Evaluate supply network performance and support strategic projects (e.g., outsourcing, hub consolidation, or new distribution models).

    WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TABLE:
    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Logistics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field Industrial engineering degree .
    • 4-6 years of experience within FMCG, logistics, or supply chain 
    • Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), Excel (advanced), SQL, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP / oracle)  Experience in TMS / WMS / OMS systems preferred 
    • Experience working with logistics metrics and customer service KPIs in an FMCG setting.

    Despatch Supervisor-2

    • Despatch Supervisor is responsible to manage efficient shift operations and maintaining high service standards. Play a crucial role in ensuring and oversee the smooth shift operations, manage the team, coordinates loading of trucks, cage transfers to holding cages and personnel efficiently.  Drive and maintain Team Connect and Shop floor development system.

    Team Leadership

    • Supervise and manage team and support staff (Clerks, Loaders and Shunters)
    • Provide training, guidance and performance evaluations

    Operational Oversight

    • Ensure the efficient and timely dispatch of products
    • Monitor scheduling, route planning as per the order and resource allocation on the loaders

    Coordination & Communication

    • Act as a liaison between Factory supervisors, Sales Reps, Distribution Controllers and management
    • Ensure clear communication of ring boards report, truck allocations, changes and emergencies

    Compliance

    • Enforce compliance with Tiger brands policies, BMR, FSSC 22000, EHS and EMS
    • Maintain accurate recons and dispatch records

    Problem solving, Incident & Conflict Management

    • Respond to emergencies, unexpected delays or disruptions in real-time
    • Troubleshoot issues with routes, equipment's or personnel

    Scheduling and Dispatching

    • Assign duties to Clerks and loaders based on the priority and availability
    • Optimize Clerks and loaders to improve efficiency and reduce costs

    Staff Supervision

    • Monitor dispatch performance and workloads
    • Hold effective Team Connect and training sessions

    Performance monitoring

    • Track the shift performance to monitor real-time operations
    • Analyze shift KPIs 

    Internal customer service support

    • Handle escalated issues or complaints regarding delays or any service 
    • Ensure internal customer i.e. distribution crew and slicing department satisfaction through timely communications

    Documentation & Reporting  

    • Maintain dispatch activities, supporting documents such as short loads, BTS, Bimbo, manuals, and any additional supporting documents to Dispatch recon
    • Prepare operational reports for Dispatch Controller 

    Minimum requirements

    • Advance Diploma/Degree in Supply chain or Logistics

    Settlement Clerk

    • To settle driver balance of daily basis
    • Settle driver balance transactions on a daily basis;
    • Run the day-end reports;
    • File documents in the appropriate place so they are easy to find;
    • Accurately enter data from paper files into mosaic system;
    • Addressing issues raised by drivers, whether they relate to the route issues, payment, administrative concerns, and or vehicle-related problems. 
    • Preparing reports on settlement activities, providing updates on transaction status. 

    Minimum requirements:

    • National Higher Certificate
