    Reliability Engineer

    Key Performance Areas:

    • The Reliability Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability of our production equipment and maintenance systems. The successful candidate must work closely with other departments to identify potential issues, analyse data, and implement solutions to enhance overall performance and reduce downtime. Develop, implement, and evaluate maintenance strategies, including preventative and predictive maintenance (PPM) programs, to ensure long-term cost savings and asset reliability. Provide input on new plant projects and design changes to ensure reliability and availability objectives are met throughout an asset's lifecycle.

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • The preferred candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the FMCG industry and have a National Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
    • Must possess excellent problem-solving skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
    • Strong communication and project management skills are also essential for success in this role.

    Junior Procurement Clerk

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Accurately capture and process all relevant documentation on a daily basis.
    • Follow up on outstanding orders and resolve any discrepancies or disputes.
    • Match invoices, perform corrections, and reconcile accounts as required.
    • Provide administrative support to the team, including filing, ad hoc tasks, and standby duties.
    • Assist with stock takes, investigations, and retrieval of Proof of Delivery (POD) documents.
    • Maintain accurate records and ensure proper filing systems are in place.

    Knowledge & Skills:

    • Matric certificate or equivalent. A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management will be advantageous.
    • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role or in an administrative capacity.
    • Strong understanding of stock control processes.
    • Proficient in MS Office applications.
    • Experience with Business Central (BC) or similar ERP systems.
    • Familiarity with the CHEP portfolio system is an added advantage.
    • Valid driver’s license (advantageous).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
    • Investigative mindset with attention to detail.
