    Data Modeller

    Are you someone who can:

    • Execute on data modelling standards, principles, frameworks and tools
    • Coordinate and prioritise data modelling work within the Business area
    • Manage the entire data modelling lifecycle, from Logical to Implemented Physical Model
    • Understand reference and master data requirements, coordinating surrogate keys and enterprise code values with stakeholders
    • Provide input into key metrics for measuring progress in data modelling
    • Optimise and update logical and physical data models to support new and existing projects
    • Ensure source to target mapping is done according to requirements
    • Maintain all ETL and business rules within the data model, as well as model-related metadata
    • Recommend opportunities for reuse of data models in new environments

    You will be an ideal candidate if you:

    • Have 4–5 years’ experience in data modelling, with hands-on relational, dimensional, and/or analytic experience (RDBMS, NoSQL, ETL, data ingestion protocols)
    • Have experience with data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data platforms in multi-data-centre contexts
    • Are knowledgeable in logical data modelling and industry data models (e.g. IBM, Teradata)
    • Understand the Inmon methodology and have experience in data warehousing environments
    • Are skilled in dimensional data modelling using Kimball methodology
    • Have experience using data modelling technologies such as Erwin
    • Have developed data models in a banking environment
    • Understand and have implemented data management domains and technologies (data modelling, metadata management, data quality and profiling, information architecture)

    Overview of the role:

    • The successful candidate will form part of a team that looks after the SailPoint Identity IQ (IIQ)

    Data Engineer II

    Fraud Analyst (Merchants Services)

    Job Description

    • The purpose of the role is to execute fraud risk management processes to guide and assist business identifying and analysing risk incidences threatening the assets, earning capacity and success.
