    Merchandise Assistant -Tygervalley Cape Town

    Your key areas of responsibilities will include:

    • Provide support to Exclusive Brand Team across all import brands
    • Manage and update Imports tracker and share progress with the team
    • Liaise with Chinese, Indian and local suppliers and manage all admin related queries
    • Assist with the setup of the annual buy calendar and ensure deadlines are achieved for placing orders
    • Coordinate and setup meetings for range presentations and buys
    • Manage the QC and Fit process with the Product Developers and suppliers
    • Manage final buy sheets
    • Understand formulas, including costings on shipping i.e. customs, duties, royalties, commission, etc.
    • Be the link between FG and DC/Shipping agents
    • Manage and coordinate the weekly shipping status report and updates from shippers
    • Update Marketing and Visual Merchandise team on incoming stock
    • Drive and maintain the footwear QC process which includes any 3rd party service providers and the internal fit team for exclusive brands
    • Manage the Fit team sheet and make relevant updates
    • Liaise with relevant stakeholders
    • Coordinate and arrange fit workshops and ensure Fit test procedure are executed
    • Showroom management -upholding the standards and procedure

    Requirements:

    • Matric (Grade 12)
    • 1-2 years administrative experience essential
    • A relevant administrative qualification
    • Excellent planning and organising skills
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent written and communication skills
    • Long hours and over time will be required from time to time
