    Technical Administrator (Centurion)

    Description

    • The Technical Administrator will form part of the Customer Experience Team within AFGRI Group IT.
    • This role is responsible for managing directly billed consumption-based invoices (printing, telephony, mobile data), SIM card allocation and administration, and supporting IT procurement processes.
    • The incumbent will also provide general administrative support to the Operations Team and act as a backup to the IT Procurement Administrator.

    Requirements

     Minimum Requirements:

    • Grade 12 with a proven track record in administration and call management
    • Relevant tertiary qualification (mandatory for external candidates)
    • Certificate in procurement administration (advantageous)
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT, procurement, or administration
    • Minimum 5 years’ working exposure to SAP
    • Advanced Excel skills

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Contribute to IT strategies related to SIM card data management and procurement. Drive continuous improvement and enhance billing processes.
    • Manage SIM card procurement, allocation, and usage.
    • Support users and ensure all calls related to SIM Cards / Data requirements are logged in the Service Desk and actioned.
    • Ensure accurate billing and reporting of direct allocated expenses, including SIM card usage, broken down by Business Unit and individual users, with details on actual usage and current status.
    • Act as backup for IT procurement functions.
    • Participate in project execution and assist with documentation and handover to production.
    • Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and suppliers to ensure smooth operations and timely payments.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial processes.
