    Manager, Technical Advisory

    Purpose of the Job

    To ensure effective management and use of technical capability on product and customer applications through availability and deployment of technical resources in support of the marketing of Lubricants to a range of current and potential end users and to deliver sustainable business growth and maximise profitability.

    What you will be doing:

    Product Optimization

    • Optimize product line formulations through focus on leverage from PLI R&T and COGS reduction to ensure achievement of business objectives and targets, ensure alignment with external market

    Product Development

    • Support product development through collaboration with PLI R&T on understanding customer base needs to create and maintain sustainable Lubricant’s business and to ensure alignment with market changes and to meet global technological advances and requirements

    Technical Support

    • Provide field technical support, training, and solutions to customer base through partnering and understanding their needs to create and maintain sustainable Lubricants Business for Engen

    Technical Maintenance

    • Development and management of Lubricants pipeline of technical expertise to ensure availability of capable resources at all times and to maintain sustainability throughout Lubricants Business

    Database Maintenance

    • Maintain Lubricants Technical Database through development, implementation and availability of proper and relevant systems and measures to ensure reporting and information access to customers and Lubricants Business

    What you have done before:


    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in within Oil &Gas OR other relevant industries
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in providing technical advice for technology, machinery & equipment
    • Experience in Managing Others


    • Preferred 5 years’ experience in a Lubricants environment
    • Preferred experience in customer facing and technical advisory environment


    • NQF Level 7 (Degree: Engineering/ Science or other related fields)

    Inventory Controller

    Purpose of the Job
    To manage and control bulk fuel inventory and account for all stock related movements accurately and timeously in order to contribute to the efficient running of Depot/Terminal and effectively contribute to profitability

    Who you are

    • You are purpose driven, are a perfectionist and you’ve got a flair with numbers
    • You are an expert in inventory management 
    • You are passionate about working with numbers and adhering to processes and procedures
    • You have excellent investigative and troubleshooting skills

    What you should have:

    • At least 2 years of depot operations experience or inventory management related experience
    • Certificate preferred 
    • Exceptional excel skills and SAP knowledge
    • Deep knowledge of inventory management and analyzing multiple reports 


    • Diploma qualification in Supply Chain or Business or Accounting 
    • Ability to work successfully in an ever-changing environment and navigate ambiguity
    • Demonstrated ability to self-manage, resolution driven and provides solutions, assesses discrepancies through report gathering and scrutinizing 
    • Advanced problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to apply within an Inventory Management environment

    What you'll be doing

    Administration Clerk

    Purpose of the Job
    Provide efficient control of vendor documentation submitted to expedite payment of vendors and provide operating and capital expense, data capture and general administrative support to accounts department

    What you'll be doing

    • Provide necessary support within distribution processes by ensuring that the process is performed in linewith prescribed operations/standing instructions and complies with OHS Act safety guidelines, is auditcompliance and ensure the handing and registering purchase orders on SAP.
    • Ensure delivery is in accordance to business requirement and deadlines by ensuring strict adherence torelevant SLA's, organizing and scheduling meetings as required, ensuring bulletin boards are updated &maintained, deliveries are completed as required and all work orders to completed
    • Manage register and relevant documentation by ensuring receipt of register product and materials receipts,ensure proper financial processes, register all vehicles as required and ensure all documentation andcorrespondence are filed to standard.
    • Maintain and keep up to date of all asset registers, raise and close all asset defects as required,documenting of all continuous improvement initiatives and promote awareness of all proceduralrequirements to Terminal visitors and staff.
    • Provide support to the relevant stakeholders through preparing and ensure that all documentation isreceived and brought to finalization, effective communication and maintenance of sound business relationships with other internal Stakeholders.

    • Ensure the plant operates effectively and contributing to minor maintenance at the terminal.

    What you'll be doing

    • The right products in the right quantities are received into stock.
    • No accidents, contaminations or spills due to negligence of incumbent.
    • Products are stored safely in line with policy guidelines and Standing instructions.
    • The right products in the right quantities are stored in the right storage areas.
    • Product handling take place in accordance with laid-down policy guidelines and Standing instructions.
    • No delays in customer service due to incompetence of operator-all products dispatched on time as per loading documentation.
    • The work area is maintained in a clean, safe and hazard-free condition.
    • Depot equipment in good working order.
    • Stocks are counted, tanks dipped on time as per agreed schedule.
    • Perform minor plant maintenance as per instructions of Plant Supervisor
    • Interact with customers and service providers
    • Work with contractor to ensure deliverables are met
    • Provide internal support to the contractor

    • STOP Compliance
    • Comply to Environmental regulations

    • Measuring Execution of deliverables as per the SI417a & SI417b (Standard Instruction)
