    Systems Controller

    PURPOSE OF POSITION

    • To provide effective system support to hospital system users by ensuring the accurate preparation, maintenance and distribution of operational, financial and clinical reports. The role is responsible for resolving system queries, maintaining data integrity, supporting users with system-related issues, and assisting with the implementation and improvement of hospital systems and processes to ensure efficient hospital operations and informed decision-making.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Maintain a high standard of service delivery to both internal and external customers.
    • Ensure the smooth operation of the Hospital Information System to facilitate accurate patient administration and billing processes.
    • Provide support to the Group Billing Analyst in maintaining Group tariffs and ensure their implementation across all hospital databases.
    • Ensure the Hospital Information System definitions are maintained and kept up to date.
    • Monitor and review daily automated system reports, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
    • Investigate and resolve patient account and billing queries in a timely manner.
    • Provide first-line support for the Hospital Information System and, where necessary, escalate issues to the Systems Services Provider.
    • Prepare the monthly management pack and present it to the Management Committee.
    • Prepare, analyse, and distribute weekly, and monthly statistical and operational reports.
    • Assist the Group Billing Analyst by providing supporting data and information required by the Tariff Team.
    • Support the Group Billing Analyst with the implementation of annual tariff files in the Hospital Information System, ensuring accurate configuration across all hospital databases.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Matric and a tertiary qualification in Information Technology.
    • Computer literacy with intermediate experience in Microsoft Excel.
    • 2 -5 Years Relevant experience.
    • Own vehicle is essential as incumbent will be required to travel between subsidiaries.

    Professional Nurse

    PURPOSE OF POSITION

    • To deliver safe and effective Emergency Nursing Care as a SANC (South African Nursing Council) Registered Professional Nurse, ensuring effective patient assessment, planning and coordination of patient care.     Enrolled Nurse

    PURPOSE OF POSITION

    • The Enrolled Nurse will be responsible for the assessment, care and meeting of patient needs and will also be responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of appropriate programmes of care to ensuring high quality patient care.     Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant X2

    PURPOSE OF POSITION

    • The incumbent will be responsible to fulfil the scope of practise of a post basic pharmacist assistant.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    The following services or acts under the direct personal supervision of a pharmacist:

    • Dispensing: the reading and preparation of a prescription, the labelling and supply of the medicine in an appropriate container following the interpretation and evaluation of the prescription by a pharmacist

    Unit Manager -ICU &Surgical Ward -Ascot Park Hospital

    PURPOSE OF POSITION

    • To lead and manage the nursing unit by ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care through effective coordination of nursing services, staff leadership, compliance with professional standards, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Lead, supervise, and support the ICU nursing team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care within their scope of practice.
