Required Skills

Duties & Responsibilities

• People Management: Provide HR advice and support on all people decisions in order to enhance team performance, morale, productivity, culture, diversity and promote sound industrial relations.
• Budget Control: Work with line management and head office HR to estimate HR costs for annual budget. Monitor costs and positions within agreed budget parameters. Compile action plans with plant management for FTE/Labour cost savings initiatives.
• Employee Relations: Effectively managing Industrial/Employee Relations activities to support business continuity. Fully understand and apply the collective agreements. Interaction with Union at Site level.

• Join Lactalis at our Bonnievale Plant in the Engineering department (Utilities and Site Service department) with the main responsibilities is to ensure the assembly, installation, alteration, repair and testing as well as fault diagnosis of machinery parts and other equipment.
• This covers both the electrical/electronic and mechanical work. Utilizes a combination of skills.
• Will be responsible for the day to day and shutdown maintenance of the Refrigeration Plants, Boilers, steam reticulation, cold rooms, water reticulation, effluent handling and air reticulation on a shift and/or standby basis.
• The individual’s main area of responsibility pertaining to preventative maintenance, efficiency monitoring and repairs.
