    Housekeeper/Laundry Job

    • Applications are invited for a vacancy exists for a dynamic Housekeeper/Laundry Person to join a team based at VUP village in Musina. This role reports directly to the project manager in the Catering Business Unit.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Matric
    • Housekeeping experience

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Washing, Ironing and folding linen
    • Disinfecting linen and floors
    • Cleaning toilet bowls and sinks
    • Ensure guest rooms and common areas are cleaned.
    • Collecting trash from Lodge floors and managing wastebaskets appropriately
    • Cleaning windows in guest rooms if there are no screens inside the room.
    • Making beds every morning and changing linens.
    • Disposing of trash
    • Always being mannerly, professional, and tactful when dealing with guests who need help.
    • Ushering guests to their rooms if needed
    • Ensuring that there is no dirt on floors or other areas where guests walk on
    • Cleaning up at all housekeeping related functions and assisting higher level supervisor with all housekeeping related tasks.
    • Work night shift when required.

    • Applications are invited for a vacancy exists for a dynamic and driven Market Analyst to join a team based at the Head Office in Waterfall. This role is ideal for a curious, data-driven thinker with a passion for research, strategy, and business growth. This role reports directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, in the Corporate Business Unit.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Matric
    • Honours degree in Econometrics, Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, or Data Analytics.
    • Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret data and identify key trends.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Experience with data tools such as Power BI.
    • Proficiency in data modelling, data insights, research, and analysis.
    • Keen interest in business strategy, growth, and market research.
    • A proactive learner with the ability to work independently and within a team.
    • Curious and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Conduct comprehensive market research and data analysis to identify new business opportunities and potential target clients.
    • Explore different industries (e.g., logistics, retail, healthcare, education, energy, and manufacturing) to understand where Servest's services can add value.
    • Track market trends, client behaviour, and emerging technologies that may influence the FM sector.
    • Support the development of industry profiles and competitor analyses to guide sales strategy.
    • Assist in creating market insight reports, dashboards, and presentations for the executive and sales teams.
    • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to translate insights into strategic actions and client opportunities.
    • Collect, clean, interpret, and model complex data sets to identify patterns and trends.
    • Develop and maintain market intelligence databases and tracking systems.
    • Create clear, concise reports and presentations that translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders.

    Competencies

    • Research Skills - Ability to gather market intelligence, monitor industry trends, and conduct pricing research to inform business decisions.
    • Data Analysis - Expertise in collecting, cleaning, interpreting, and modelling complex data sets to identify patterns and trends that drive commercial insights.
    • Pricing Strategy - Knowledge of how to determine optimal pricing for products or services to maximise revenue and maintain competitiveness in the market.
    • Information Dissemination - Strong ability to translate complex data and findings into clear, concise reports and presentations for stakeholders and the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
    • Strategic Thinking - Capability to use insights to develop and refine commercial strategies and identify new market opportunities that align with Servest's growth objectives.
    • Collaboration - Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively with business, finance, marketing, and sales teams to ensure insights are actioned appropriately.
