    Food Technology Intern

    Job Description
    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • To take full control of the SGS document control system to be in line with the SGS high level system requirements and ISO17025:2017.
    • Register, format, distribute and control system document process
    • To ensure accurate and comprehensive minutes are taken at monthly quality meetings, management review meetings etc.
    • To monitor the training programs drawn up and ensure that scheduled training dates are being adhered to.

    SPECIFIC AUTHORITIES

    • Monitor and report all non-compliance of Quality reporting deadlines and schedules
    • Cease the use of any equipment that may be deemed to constitute a safety hazard or enter hazardous environments without the necessary knowledge and protection and report the situation to higher authority to take action.
    • Cease to carry on with work that may affect the quality (integrity) of services and report the situation to higher authority to take action
    • Initiate a formal improvement request when a deviation of the system occurs, possible improvements are identified or when nonconformity is identified

    Project Controls Manager

    Job Description
    To proactively, establish, manage, audit and ensure provision of project controls services that is consistent with global standards and represent good practice.

    • Build a world class Project Controls Function for office and on-Site projects.
    • Direct the establishment and implementation of project control procedures, tools, systems and best practices for use on projects. Oversee modifications to these procedures for specific client requirements. Project control procedures are to encompass all activities and systems relating to planning, estimating and document controlling.
    • Responsible to oversee, implement, maintain and support the continued development of enterprise management tools (Primavera P3, P6, Oracle Risk Analysis, MS project, etc.) and contract management tools.
    • Actively support business development efforts by providing and Project Control input and resources, including estimates, plans and management support.
    • Stay abreast of new trends and innovations
    • Lead a multidisciplinary team of Project Control staff to ensure project costs and schedule are effectively managed through the various stages of a project.
    • Provide input at bid stage on all risk level projects.
    • Consolidate and issue the Project Control Statements (PCS) and the Monthly Project Review Document (MPRD) on a monthly basis for all projects.
    • Lead effort in Benchmarking and Project Close-Out requirements, in order to implement lessons learnt and promotes a continuous improvement culture.

    SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Pro-active decision making and able to take accountability in a fast-paced pressurized project environment driven by cost and schedule objectives
    • Management of people in a team environment and the ability to keep momentum in motivation and productivity is paramount.
    • Proven experience in the following areas: capital estimating, project planning, project cost control and project document control

    Junior Electrical Engineer

    Job Description

    • To produce cost effective and technically sound Electrical designs within the required time frame to support project deliverables.

    Project Life Cycle

    • Ensure discipline strategy development during set-up to meet project deliverables
    • Offer general project support and problem solving on technical matters arising
    • Use knowledge of scope on current and recent projects to promote re-use of engineering where possible
    • Review key discipline documentation and drawings produced on projects
    • Develop electrical strategy and design criteria to suit the unique project/client requirements

    • A proven track record of minimum of 8 years plus experience in discipline specific drawing design/draughting within a mineral processing or petrochemical plant projects environment, is required for this position.  Most of the experience should ideally have been gained in the EPCM environment.
    • Experience should ideally be balanced between feasibility studies, project execution and site-based work/visits.
    • Technical Draughting - To generate graphical deliverables from an engineering design.
    • CAE Software - Ability to use software including setting up systems, procedures and guidelines e.g. AutoCAD.
