    Packaging Operator

    • The key purpose of this role is the safe operation of one or more discrete processes in the Brewing & Utilities plant (e.g. Wort Cooling, Yeast Management, Filtration Q&C), the execution of maintenance tasks, quality control checks and analyses, and the coaching of fellow team members to produce a consistent product of the right quality at optimum cost.

    Key outputs and responsibilities: 

    Plant and Process 

    • Optimize Plant & Process Performance where appropriate
    • Operate the Brew house Plant and Process
    • Operate Beverage Fermentation Plant and Process
    • Operate Beverage Filtration Plant and Process
    • Performing housekeeping tasks, applying 5s principles and following safe work practices
    • Unsafe work practices must be identified and corrected.
    • Support the creation (drafting and documenting) of standard work procedures (including quick fix routines and problems

    Quality control and analysis 

    • Carry out the required quality +checks and analyses, and recording the results on the appropriate information system
    • Where quality problems have arisen, apply the appropriate problem-solving techniques (e.g. Quick fix routines) to resolve
    • Escalate any identified or unresolved problems to BAM

    Communication 

    • Actively participate in meetings and goal reviews
    • Utilise the gap list to record issues, problems and improvement opportunities
    • Fully understanding the team goals and participating in team goal review sessions
    • Making use of relevant communication media (e.g. shift logbook) to stay informed and inform others of issues
    • Complete required hand over to incoming shift team members, ensuring the issues relating to plant performance, quality
    • Complete autonomous maintenance tasks problem-solving activities

    Problem solving 

    • Respond rapidly to upstream or downstream triggers that could result in out-of-control process situations
    • Apply problem solving techniques (e.g. 5Y, quick fix routines etc.) to identify and correct problems

    Work In Teams 

    • Develop others in own skills as well as the learning of the skills of other specialist Brewery Technicians
    • Be a logical, analytical problem solver who can operate in an unstructured environment
    • A team player (prepared to communicate, listen and assist)

    • Be available to work flexible hours (outside of normal office hours and sometimes over the weekends) to meet production

    Minimum Requirements:

    • National Diploma – Chemical Engineering / Biotechnology
    • Completed IST in Brewing advantageous
    • Basic PC Literacy (Microsoft/ SAP)

    BDR 1

    • The Key Purpose of this role is to work towards achieving growth in volumes sold, growth in market share and increased competitiveness through providing market driven differentiated service that builds sustainable competitiveness within clearly identified  segments. 

    Key Roles and Responsibilities: 

    • Achieve sales targets for assigned areas
    • Manage and supervise Distributors of assigned sector (order, payment, re-distribution)
    • Ensure IB products are available in reasonable stock (complete range) in the customers and retail outlets 
    • Ensure chiller are properly placed in the performing outlet and used exclusively for IBPLC products in the assigned sector 
    • Monitor the recommended price of our product at sales outlets 
    • Closely monitor actions of the competition

    Minimum Requirements:

    • 3-year degree qualification 
    • At least 2 years' experience in sales/marketing/FMCG environment 
    • Valid unendorsed Cod 8 drivers' license 
    • Basic computer literacy and experiencing working with Microsoft Office

    DPR Administrator

    • The key purpose of this role is to provide an administrative role and monitoring of MES, AS and (manufacturing systems) and the integration of these systems in order to ensure that they are correctly aligned and therefore ensuring the availability of manufacturing data for reference, decision making, trend analysis and verification purposes. To review, correct and co-ordinate daily Production Transactions on SAP for the Brewing and Packaging Departments.

    Key Roles and Responsibilities: 

    • Daily BBT Consumptions on SAP
    • Daily Analysis and Corrections on Process Orders
    • Daily Balance of Full Beer and Empty Container movement
    • Daily Capture of Cullet, receive empties on RB Loss Tracker
    • Daily Update of Cullet tracker and issue
    • Daily communication to Leadership wrt efficiencies
    • Daily Compare inputs and outputs from MES, AS and SAP Daily/Weekly/Monthly Communication
    • Monthly Missing, Broken, Foreign analysis and recharge
    • Monthly ABinbev Packaging Efficiency analysis and corrections•
    • Do corrections in SAP as per Finance Instruction
    • GRN Goods Received in MES and SAP
    • Recon Vendor Statements and handle Vendor Queries
    • Provide Inventory Control Support
    • Provide Ad Hoc and daily/weekly/monthly manufacturing report
    • Maintain manufacturing daily production reports
    • Understanding of integration processes on manufacturing systems
    • Evaluate / Communicate daily DPR Gap monitoring
    • Understanding of DPR booking rules
    • VPO (5S, Steercom Pack, Routines, MCRS)
    • Additional when required; assist with Production Planning Determine and implement the weekly production plans
    • Brewing and Packaging as per Volume Requirement, Quality Standard and Preferred Run Strategy as well as any other duties essential to ensure efficient production planning

    Key Attributes and Competencies: 

    • Knowledge of the full manufacturing process is advantageous
    • Good understanding of inventory management and production systems (Preferably in SAP MM)

    Minimum Requirements:

    Inventory Analyst

    • The Key Purpose of this role the management of all Finished Goods (FG) inventory within the logistics supply chain ensuring product quality s tan dards met & in compliance to all inventory governance processes & controls. All physical movement of inventory is correctly reflected in SAP, inventory differences investigated, resolved & re por ted

    Key Roles and Responsibilities:

    FG Quality Management

    • FG Inventory quality fundamentals standards are adhered to as per DPO & VPO requirements
    • FG Inventory accurately blocked in SAP with physical blocking mechanism in place as per VPO/DPO standards for quality related & obsolescence stock
    • Ensure compliance to the freshness & rotation policy as per VPO & DPO standards
    • Inventory count are recorded accurately with quantities & BBD x SKU& bin cards clearly displayed as per DPO & VPO standards
    • Inventory concession policy applied & approved as per VPO product age standards
    • FG Inventory accurately blocked in SAP with physical blocking mechanism in place as per VPO/DPO standards for quality related & obsolescence stock
    • All FG salvages are repacked as per VPO & DPO standards
    • All obsolescence stock are decanted as per standard policy & procedure Inventory Management
    • Independent inventory counts conducted on all FG Inventory reconciled to SAP inventory . Inventory count differences identified, investigated, resolved & reported. Unresolved inventory count differences escalated to BLM / DCLM & RLM with commentary & action plans
    • Breakages, Obsolescence & salvages stock are signed off & processed in SAP accurately
    • All daily controls, open shipments for T1 & T2 are reviewed & resolved. All claims are processed timeously with signed off backu p documentation & SAB re imbursed
    • POC & T2 driver route settlement corrections reviewed, approved & signed off
    • SCO BUD vs ACT costs are monitored with gaps & action plans reports

    Fleet Expenditure Against the Budget

    • Governance and Risk
    • All Documentation signed off by relevant persons, filed & securely stored as per Inventory Control Policy Inventory stock & T2 shipment packs, gate register, etc.
    • Security cameras in key points on site & random verification conducted
    • 3 Point independent checks are conducted on all T1 & T2 shipments for departure & arrival Random checks conducted to ensure compliance
    • All physical movements of FG Inventory are transacted in SAP accurately. T1 & T2 movements, Packaging receipts validated by line counters, write off's are verified against signed off documentation & gate sheets

    NOCC Supply Data Analyst
