The Job

• An experienced Full Stack Java Developer with GWT and Jasper is needed for a company in the healthcare industry based in Bryanston.

Education:

• 3-year National Diploma or Degree in the relevant field

• Proven Java experience of at least 3 – 5 years.

• Java 5.0 Language Fundamentals (preferably Java 7)

• GWT - Goole Web Toolkit (minimum 2 years’ experience)

• Logging frameworks (SLF4J, Log4J)
• EJB (MDBs)
• JSP & HTML (incl v5.0)
• JSP Custom Tags
• JavaScript / AJAX
• AOP
• Caching mechanisms (ehCache)
• Web Frameworks (Struts/JSF,PrimeFaces)
• Spring (Core, Web, Remoting, Security etc.)
• Exposure to Enterprise development is a requirement
• Use programming languages and tools (generally) around the Java platform.
• Work with QA Analysts to implement testing plans and write the necessary code to automate testing in line with our Test-Driven Development methodology.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• 5+ yrs of software development experience and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of deep and machine learning is essential
• Needs to be an expert in Python and SQL and have experience with the modern software development best practices, e.g. agile software development, code reviews, unit testing, version control, e.g. Git
• Experience with ML frameworks and tools (e.g. Pandas, Numpy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, Pytorch, Spark MLlib)
• Be familiar with Container technologies - Docker, Kubernetes. Amazon Sage Maker and OpenCV
• Must have worked with Agile software development in Python, Go, Java, JavaScript, Typescript
• Have significant experience with open-source operating system environments.
• You will have to explore new computer vision algorithms, models, and architectures for proof-of-concept, helping to conceive prototypes.
• Designing, analyzing and monitoring systems deployed in a cloud computing environment

The Job

This engineer will be responsible for the development, programming, and setup of a range of Wireless Telecommunications Products. An ideal candidate is expected to have or has been building experience and have a deep understanding of the application of fundamental principles, theories, concepts, and practices related to the telecommunications sector.

The candidate should also be able to Perform modeling and simulation in support of design and analysis activities and to participate in experimental testing of completed designs. Successful products will be produced in large quantities and sold all over the world.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, Design, test and implement design/technological concepts
• Product and Document Configuration; Product Budgets; Assist Design Team with Product Deployment / Product specification / Implementation at third party Providers / Monitoring and evaluation Field Support
• Setup and Configuration of routers, switches, services and IT devices

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Electronic Engineering
• Compiling Production documentation in accordance with acknowledged standards
• Compiling Product Specifications and User Manuals
• Issuing revisions and updates to the software
• Interfacing with customers, analyzing and interpreting their requirements
