    Head Editorial and Language Services

    Job Purpose

    • To manage the provision of a language risk mitigation service to the Nedbank Group its alliances and associates.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Deliver a world-class language and editorial service by ensuring a client-centred culture.
    • Ensure best practice. Optimise efficiency and embed correct values by ensuring direct reports understand and support Nedbank's vision, values and strategy.
    • Mitigate risk by identifying, monitoring and managing communication non-compliance and managing others doing this.

    Tech Specialist (Specific Technology)

     

    Job Purpose

    • The Specific Technology Specialist messaging specialist will be responsible for all activities involving messaging, including but not limited to analysis, development, modification, installation, testing and maintenance of messaging software. The successful candidate needs to possess a strong understanding of messaging systems (including hardware and software solutions), cloud computing as a concept, the Z/OS operating system and assisting architecture in creating direction. They will evaluate vendor-supplied software packages and make recommendations to IT Management. Modifies and/or debugs vendor-supplied utilities and packages. Modify, install, and prepare technical documentation and keep messaging standards up to date. Additionally diagnose, isolate, and debug software problems and performs problem resolution while participating in forums addressing outages. Monitors systems capacity and performance, plans and executes disaster recovery procedures and provides Tier 2 technical support. This function include periodic capacity planning as well.

    • Present to stakeholders on any impact or change to specific technology.
    • Engage with vendors related to specific technologies.
    • Present on the exploitation of the technology.
    • Become a trusted consultant by providing trustworthy information and acknowledging if advice cannot be provided.
    • Expand IP beyond own technology speciality. Review Nedbank and Business Unit Plan and ensure delivered systems, process, services and solutions are aligned to support the achievement of the business strategy, objectives and values.
    • Contribute to the content of the curricula for stakeholders.
    • Enable skilling and required corrective action to take place.
    • Grow the profession through technical mentoring.
    • Review vendor training offerings. Ensure the continuity of the technical specialist pipeline.

    Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

    • IBM MQ System Administration V9 and above would be advantageous
    • Azure / AWS cloud certifications would be advantageous

    Head: ERM Soution Innovation

    Job Purpose

    • To ensure that the Group Risk Framework is embedded; operationalised and implemented. Advise business on strategic direction to meet business objectives; mitigate risks and meet regulatory requirements.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Establish and embed enterprise-wide and operational risk frameworks and policies.
    • Collaborate with other risk functions across the Cluster and Group.
