Key Performance Output
The successful candidate reporting to the Assistant Manager Building and Facilities Maintenance, will be responsible for:
- Manage Service Level Agreements (Maintenance and Supply).
- Manage contractor procurement Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Shared Services (SSC) processes.
- Ensure compliance to relevant statutory and legislative regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), operational standards, policies and practices.
- Identify and report possible efficiency enhancements and initiatives to ensure resource savings.
- Provide relevant and specialized technical support in area of expertise to relevant stakeholders to ensure achievement of objectives.
- Ensure implementation of continuous improvement of equipment / infrastructure.
- Manage OPEX and CAPEX budget in relevant area.

Key Performance Output
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Manager Fire & Rescue and will be responsible for the following:
- Ensure execution of pre-inspections of parking bays for safety compliance.
- Coordinate and supervise marshalling process to ensure correct aircraft position.
- Coordinate and supervise notifications to pilot when chocks are in place.
- Ensure that clear, precise, and approved hand signals are used when docking aircrafts.
- Management of automated docking system during parking process.
- Notify Airport Operations of bay changes to ensure compliance of process.

- Manage the serviceability of marshalling equipment and its allocation to marshallers.

- Facilitate luggage and people into the screening point and ensure flow control in the prescribed manner.

- Perform physical screening on all identified baggage.

Key Performance Output
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Local Airport Manager and will be responsible but not limited to the following:
- Facilitate and regulate capacity for each process and highlight any pressure points in terms of passenger and aircraft flow.
- Monitor and manage process and system efficiency within terminal operations (queuing and processing times) and recommend/implement remedial action where needed. Monitoring and approving the use of shared equipment, including gates, ticket counters, baggage carousels to ensure critical equipment and infrastructure is available during irregular activity.
- Provide view and make recommendations in terms of impact and availability of terminal infrastructure.
- Manage all airport functional areas’ capacity (landside, terminal and remote sites) through coordinating with infrastructure maintenance and development projects to achieve a high level of infrastructure availability in a safe operating environment.
- Identify customer experience enhancement opportunities, develop and implement appropriate initiatives, through survey results.
- Collaborate, direct and coordinate stakeholders to ensure passengers are processed efficiently.
