    Demand & Sourcing Analyst - Roodepoort Head Office

    • Overall purpose of the job: improving demand accuracy, supporting strategic procurement decisions, and enhancing product competitiveness through data-driven insights.The primary focus of this role is to analyse sales trends,develop accurate demand forecasts, and assess market and competitor pricing to ensure our product offering remains by evaluating competitor product specifications, pricing structures, and cost differences, the role highlights opportunities for optimization and supports the procurement team in aligning products to market expectations and procurement experience. This position needs someone who understands market share, new product launches  pricing, extensive experience with forecasting(using Excel & Power BI), experience as a senior planner/Demand planner

     Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

    Forecasting & Demand Planning

    • Lead the demand forecasting process ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
    • Collaborate with brand managers to generate initial and adjusted forecasts for new products based on market trends and sales projections.

    Sales & Inventory Management

    • Analyse sales performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across product categories.
    • Highlight significant sales changes (positive or negative) and collaborate with brand managers to determineroot causes.
    • Adjust demand forecasts based on promotions, marketing activity, or planned business initiatives.
    • Work closely with procurement to maintain adequate stock levels in anticipation of demand shifts.

    Market Competitiveness & Pricing Intelligence

    • Conduct ongoing pricing analysis across key product lines to understand our position in the market.
    • Provide product pricing insights that support buying decisions and guide overall pricing alignment.
    • Use pricing and product insights to support procurement in evaluating alternative product specifications where appropriate, while maintaining quality and product integrity.
    • Assist with the development and maintenance of pricing comparison documents and relevant market analysis tools.

    Reporting & Analysis
    Prepare high-level reporting on:

    • New product performance.
    • Dead stock and slow-moving items.
    • Overstock and inventory exposure
    • Competitor pricing comparisons
    • Product cost and specification variances
    • Provide procurement with clear insights and recommendations based on data trends and market evaluation.
    • Collaborate with brand managers on strategies to address product under or overperformance or risk.

    Promotional & New Product Planning

    • Integrate promotional activity forecasts into demand planning to ensure adequate stock coverage for projected increases.
    • Provide buyers with timely forecast updates to support procurement planning around promotions.
    • Assist with the execution of new product launches by providing initial forecasts, competitor benchmarking, and performance monitoring.
    • Support post-launch analysis to evaluate success and recommend improvement actions.

    Qualifications, Experience and Skills

    • Grade 12 : Essential
    • Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Economics, Business, or Data

    Analytics : Essential

    • Advanced Excel experience :Essential 
    • Experience with Business Intelligence tools (QlikView, Power BI, Etc) : Desirable

    Experience and Knowledge (Minimum)

    • Direct work experience in a similar capacity : 3- 5 years Essential

    Warehouse Manager - Johannesburg

    • The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the warehouse. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the planning, organising, directing and controlling of all warehouse activities. The Warehouse Manager assists management in establishing warehouse performance objectives and standards. He/she is accountable for achieving prescribed company objectives in regards to cost, productivity, accuracy, and customer service. He/she is responsible to manage all aspects of customer requirements including but not limited to: inventory accuracy, distribution, receiving, housekeeping, and logistics.

    Main duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

    • Operations: Ensure the development of systems and procedures for operating and managing physical warehouse, human resources and equipment in a profitable manner. Plan, direct and implement warehouse operations, procedures and support to meet prescribed productivity and service levels.
    • Labour Management: Directs the operation of the warehouse team to achieve prescribed objectives and standards. Develop and maintain a productive, motivated workforce by ensuring effective hiring, training and development of warehouse staff. Creates programmes to counsel and discipline staff. Provides timely and appropriate performance reviews to all direct reports and ensures the same is done for all warehouse staff.
    • Customer Service: Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with all customers (internal and external). Establish programmes to improve customer awareness at all levels in the warehouse. Maintain records and reports to ensure customer service levels are being met. Develop and maintain strong partnership with customers in order to achieve financial results.
    • Inventory Management: Ensures all customers objectives and standards are met in regards to inventory accuracy. Is accountable for the stock management of the warehouse as it pertains to loss/damage.
    • Safety/Housekeeping: Develop, implement, and maintain appropriate programs to ensure that all safety and housekeeping standards and objectives are met. Assure compliance to regulations in regard to safety certification to forklift drivers, and OHSA guidelines.
    • Equipment and Facility: Procure equipment and facility preventative maintenance services to assure efficient operations of all facets of the warehouse. Maintain suitable equipment and services to assure security of company assets.
    • Identify and implement changes in areas for potential cost savings and process improvement
    • Drive automation within processes to achieve long term cost and efficiency savings
    • Mentor, Coach and provide continuous feedback to direct reports.

    Qualifications, skills and experience:

    • Relevant Degree – Essential
    • End warehouse management experience
    • Excellent skills in planning, controlling, staffing, budgeting, organising, and communication are required.
    • The ability to develop effective relationships, provide leadership, and integrate diverse activities and individuals toward achieving objectives and standards are critical.
    • Ability to develop and execute a root cause analysis and fix
    • Ability to develop new and innovative operational solutions
    • Excellent networking, relationship building/maintenance, communication and presentation skills
    • Financial acumen, ability to make effective decisions, and experience managing projects and risk
    • Excellent Computer Skills (experience in WMS essential)

    Warehouse Team Leader - (Late Shift)

    Job Description

    • We currently have a vacancy for the position of Warehouse Team Leader(Late Shift), based at our Warehouse in the West Rand.     • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, SAP, Qwix ,or similar).
    • Sound knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
