    Accountant

    Introduction

    We are looking to recruit an Accountant CA (SA) to work within our Group Finance department. The role will be based at Clicks Head Office in Cape Town and will report to the Group Finance Manager.

    Job purpose

    To provide accurate, timeous and relevant financial information to facilitate decision-making and controls and to ensure that financial transactions are controlled and processed timeously.

    Job objectives

    • Assist with monthly, interim and year-end reporting.
    • Assist with ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
    • Responsible for the investigation and resolution of internal and external audit and financial control testing findings.
    • Assist with the Group Finance financial control environment including:

    Job description

    Learnership Programme:

    • Successfully complete a National Certificate: Pharmacy Assistance Learnership Programme (Learner Basic Pharmacist Assistant) and a Further Education and Training Certificate: Pharmacist Assistance (Learner Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant) through the accredited Pharmacy Healthcare Academy
