Experience required:

• General ledger accounting: Experience with journal entries, accruals, and period end closing processes.
• Reconciliations: Strong understanding of bank, intercompany and control account reconciliations often requiring attention to detail and analytical review.
• Invoicing and Billing: Exposure to revenue processes. Sales orders and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Income Statement and Balance Sheet Reviews: Ability to interpret financial information, identify unusual movements or errors and provide commentary with regards to the variances.
• Preparation of Committee reports: Skill in preparing internal management reports, suggesting experience in management accounting and using tools like excel, ERP systems (Oracle).
• Journal Entry Posting: Requires a working knowledge of double entry bookkeeping, accrual accounting, and often some understanding of IFRS.
• Mandates maintenance: Maintaining Bank mandates and authority matrices
• Experience with payment authorization processes.

• Have 5+ years of experience in the IT field as a Systems Architect
• Preferred: Banking Industry Experience
• Have an IT-related Degree or Diploma.
• Have programming experience or knowledge of programming principles.
• Have 2-3 years of experience in Systems Architecture and Kubernetes.
• Have strong design skills on Linux and Windows systems.
• Have advanced implementation and administration expertise in Kubernetes/Rancher.
• Have a Java development background (advantageous).
