    MIS Manager

    What will make you successful in this role?

    Minimum Qualification Required

    • A post-matric qualification in Computer Science or Information Technology (or similar technical qualification) would be an advantage.

    Minimum Experience

    • At least 7-10 years’ experience in an MIS or BI environment/field.
    • Previous experience in managing a team or department.
    • Proven track record in leading large-scale BI, data warehouse, or information systems projects.
    • Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS, Snowflake, or similar) would be highly advantageous.

    Key Deliverables include, but not limited to:

    • Provide vision and strategy for Miway’s migration to AWS and Snowflake, aligning with the Group’s cloud journey.
    • Develop and analyse systems to support employees and managers in effective decision-making.
    • Define and implement strategies for both on-premise and cloud-based software and hardware systems.
    • Ensure quality of information through robust Data Governance, Data Quality, and Master Data Management practices.
    • Lead and develop staff into critical role players across functional areas.
    • Oversee procurement, budgeting, and planning for systems infrastructure (on-premise and cloud).
    • Provide training and assistance to staff on BI tools, data management, and cloud technologies.
    • Offer technical support and leadership for MIS operations and future process implementation.

    Technical Skills Required

    • Strong proficiency with BI toolsets, Data Warehousing (SQL Server experience advantageous).
    • Good understanding of cloud data platforms (AWS, Snowflake) and modern data architecture.
    • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex systems-related problems while ensuring system security.
    • Proficiency in Office applications, ERP software, and communication systems.

    Key Skills Required

    • Expertise in planning and maintaining enterprise hardware, software, and cloud environments.
    • Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.
    • Strong Agile (Kanban) skills and focus on best practices/models.
    • Experienced in leading transformation projects, ideally including cloud adoption.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

    Sales Agent - Outbound

    What will you do?

    • Responsible for contacting clients according to specified campaigns and scripts to query outstanding payments and escalate to the next level of collection if required.  May provide customers with essential and  information regarding products and services. Predictive dialling may be used when contacting the client.  Provides quality service to external and internal customers by ensuring accuracy in recording of data.

    Minimum Qualification and Experience

    Minimum Qualification 

    • Grade 12 / Standard 10 / NQF 4
    • RE5 Certificate
    • Fully FAIS Accredited (As per Dofa date)

    • Experience of more than 2 years in a sales environment

    Claims Admin and Support : General Manager

    What will make you successful in this role?

    Minimum Qualification Required

    • Grade 12/Standard 10/NQF 4  
    • An applicable bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field
    • Any applicable post-matric qualifications will be advantageous.

    Minimum Experience

    • Proven track record with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in claims in the Short-Term Insurance Industry, for both Personal line and Commercial Insurance
    • Must currently be in a management role overseeing a rescue/emergency call centre, salvage, car hire, and towing operations.
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a middle or senior management capacity.
    • Solid understanding of the end-to-end claims administration lifecycle, procedures, and processes.

    Deliverables include, but will not be limited to

    • Strategic Oversight: Direct the overall performance, strategy, and operations of the Claims Administration department, including the rescue/emergency call centre, salvage, car hire, and towing divisions.
    • Vendor & Partner Management: Oversee the performance, cost-effectiveness, and service level agreements of all external service providers, including towing services, car hire companies, and salvage providers.
    • Operational Excellence: Drive the development and implementation of projects and system enhancements to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate the customer experience across all managed areas.
    • Financial Acumen: Manage the Manex and Loss Ratio for the Claims Administration department, operations are financially optimized.
    • Performance Reporting: Develop and present comprehensive reports on departmental performance, operational KPIs, and project progress to the Head of Department.
    • Risk & Compliance: Monitor and manage the risk register for the department, ensuring all processes and procedures are compliant with industry regulations and company policies.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Provide general support and act as a subject matter expert to the broader Claims Department, Procurement, and other internal business units to ensure seamless integration and operational alignment.

    • Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a multi-functional team of leaders and specialists.
    • Commercial Acumen: Strong business and financial insight, with experience managing budgets and negotiating with service providers.

    • Communication Skills: Superior verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to engage effectively at all levels of the organization.
    • Resilience: Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage competing priorities, and maintain high attention to detail.
    • Stakeholder Management: Proven track record of building and maintaining effective relationships with internal teams and external partners.
