The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:
- Effective planning of specific project equipment to achieve productivity as per project scope
- Effective scheduling and monitoring of specific project equipment, manage backlog and labour limitations / constraints
- Develop and maintain the site maintenance schedules, analyse data from the computerised management maintenance systems and identify trends and areas of improvement
- Initiate procurement of spares and consumables to ensure availability
- Liaise with the maintenance systems manager to on-board new machinery and provide site performance information
- Create job cards, with job safety analysis, in advance to ensure timeous availability of materials, skills and resources
- Prompt identification of recurring defects and inefficiencies, flag, analyse and assist with close-out thereof
- Provide feedback and input to the site engineering team and procurement department at weekly planning meetings
- Comply with legal regulations, M&RC and Client’s standards, policies, procedures and safety protocols
- Effective self-management and alignment with M&RC’s values and leadership initiatives
- Effective daily supervision of the engineering planning team
- Effective team and self-management in alignment with M&RC’s values and leadership initiatives
Minimum requirements
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
- Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent
- Mechanical or Electrical Artisan Trade Certificate [S26] or National Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Supervisory Development Program [preferred] [site specific]
- Proficient in computerized maintenance systems
- Proficient in MS Office [Excel, Word, MS Projects]
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including a customer service orientation
- Excellent planning and organizing skills
- Analytical, solution and deadline focused
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an artisan or in an Assistant Engineering Planner role on a mine or in a factory
- At least 5 years of experience as a Foreman (advantageous)
- Experience in an underground / surface mining environment / in a vertical shaft section particularly in an earth moving equipment or trackless mining environment [site specific]
- Knowledge and experience in remote condition monitoring of equipment [site specific]
- Experience in developing reports and analysing data obtained from equipment will be advantageous [site specific]

- Communicating winding engine defects to the appropriate supervisor or manager
- Plan electrical equipment installation and maintenance requirement
- Implement and control installation and maintenance plans
- Effective self and team supervision in alignment with MRC values and leadership initiatives

- Engineering installations are constructed according to agreed standards, procedures and specifications

Minimum requirements
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
- Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent
- Section 26 Electrical Trade Certificate / MIETTB (Mining Industry Engineering Trades Training Board) Trade Certificate through a registered body
- Valid Medical certificate of Fitness
- Valid First aid Certificate
- Valid Code EB driver’s license
- Sound verbal and written communication skills in English
- Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:
- 5 years’ or more mining industry experience (surface and plant), preferably in a sinking shaft
- 5 years’ trade experience as an Electrician
- Medically fit to work underground

Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:
- At least 2 years’ experience as an Onsetter/Banksman in a Sinking shaft.

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:
- Efficient administration of databases and related reporting systems
- Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling/sorting information and establishing entry priorities
- Verify accuracy of data from designated sources before entering it into the system
- Locate and correct any visible data errors by confirming its integrity with supervisors
- Accurate and timeous capturing onto relevant databases resulting in accurate system reports
- Update and maintain the required data on Share Point
- Secure information by completing database backups
- Maintain integrity of database and confidentiality of information

Minimum requirements
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
- Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent
- Relevant Office Administration / Clerical related certificate or similar
- MS Office proficient [Word, Outlook and Excel]
- Proficient at typing
- Attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:
- At least 1 years of experience in a critical role, preferably within mining environment
- Possess basic knowledge of spreadsheets, word processing and databases

- Escalating abnormal operation problems to the Engineer.

- Assisting during breakdowns or emergencies
Minimum requirements
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
- Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent
- Winding Engine Driver's certificate
- Onsetter certificate
- Good communication skills in English
Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:
- 3 Years working experience as a Winding Engine Driver in a sinking shaft
- Good working experience within the mining environment
- Must have experience in Mine Construction and Shaft sinking

- Ability to conduct investigations and record findings
- Experience in relevant safety principles and systems
