    Senior Tax Specialist

    Job Purpose

    • To support the delivery of the Nedbank Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) tax strategy by providing commercially relevant tax advice, insights, and guidance to business stakeholders.

    Job Responsibilities

    Regulatory Impact Assessment

    • Engage with CIB business units to assess the tax implications of new and existing legislation.

    Crime Analyst

    Job Purpose

    • To support  Group Financial Crime, Forensics and Security through transforming raw financial and third‑party data into actionable anti‑money laundering (AML) intelligence to prevent, detect, and disrupt money laundering activity and related predicate offenses supporting Money Laundering investigations, Subpoena team, High Risk Advisory committee, and External Stakeholders being the Financial Intelligence Centre and South African Anti-Money Laundering Integrated Task Force (SAMLIT). 

    Job Responsibilities

    Data Acquisition & Management

    • Source & integrate internal datasets (customer, KYC/CDD/EDD, transactions, channels, geographies, alerts, case outcomes) and 
    • External datasets (FIC, SAMLIT typologies, law-enforcement requests, sanctions lists, adverse media).

    Job Responsibilities

    • Solution design / architecture within the payments space (banks & fintechs) with a focus on back-end systems related to issuing and acquiring.
    • Play a leading role in designing payments solutions for issuing and acquiring and working with implementation teams in the Card Payments area within Nedbank.
    • Experience with orchestration and middleware, cloud (Azure), payments systems (Postilion, CAMS, PowerCard etc.), data integration, databases, ETL, security and service exposure and consumption by other technology platforms, systems and channels is crucial.
    • This position requires knowledge of engineering and software delivery and integrating and developing solutions for high-performance payments platforms and will require work across multi-disciplinary teams.

    Business Analyst Specialist

    Job Purpose
