    Store Manager - PEP Jeffreys Bay (8483) (Eastern Cape)

    Description

    • PURPOSE OF POSITION: Leading a store team to meet business KPIs including driving sales, cost control,  mitigating risks and stock loss, administration and ensuring world class store standards. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Increase sales by focusing on customer service and world-class store standards, maintenance of the store image, stock management and promotional implementation
    • Stock loss is minimised by having a healthy store culture and following security measures, stock and cash handling procedures.
    • Manage cost according to the company low cost culture by driving efficiencies in the store.

    Production and Studio Manager (Northern Suburbs (Cape)

    Description

    • The Production & Studio Manager's primary responsibility is to provide strategic leadership for Content Production, governing the end-to-end lifecycle of high-volume creative assets by managing internal studio operations and external production partnerships. This role leads the team that plans, executes, and delivers high-quality content while a key focus remains on driving commercial efficiency through cost analysis, stakeholder management, and full ownership of the operational budget.

    Requirements

    • Strategic Content Leadership: Provide strategic direction for all content production, managing the end-to-end lifecycle of high-volume creative assets.
    • Studio and Resource Management: Oversee all internal studio equipment and resources (Photographers, DTP Operators), ensuring the studio is adequately resourced and running efficiently.
    • Commercial Efficiency: Drive commercial value by rigorously analysing production costs against output, constantly seeking to reduce external spend and enhance process efficiency.
    • Project & Workflow Governance: Develop and maintain the master studio production calendar, manage critical paths, translate marketing objectives into clear briefs, and proactively identify/resolve workflow bottlenecks.
    • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary operational contact between creative teams, production studios, and core business units (Buying, Planning, eCommerce), managing complex relationships and 3rd-party supplier contracts.
    • Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and manage the team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring alignment with the overall marketing strategy.

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

    • A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Media Production, Project Management, or a related field
    • 5-7 years of experience in Studio Management, Program/Traffic Management, or as an Integrated Producer within a high-volume retail, creative, or agency environment.
    • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Google Suite and workflow/project management software (e.g., Trello, Asana, WorkBook).
    • Familiarity with PIM (Product Information Management) and DAM (Digital Asset Management) systems
    • Solid understanding of Digital Marketing Production and delivery
    • Ability to identify issues and resolve those quickly

    Sponsorship and Partnership Specialist (Northern Suburbs (Cape)

    Description

    • As the Sponsorship and Partnership specialist you will be the strategic lead in building, negotiating and managing sponsorship and relationships that drive measurable brand growth for PEP.

    Requirements

    • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with key internal and external partners, suppliers, and media, driving an increase in partnership ROI.
    • Contract Leadership: Lead the identification, qualification, and successful conclusion of new, high-value partnership and sponsorship contracts, ensuring favourable, legally sound terms and clear governance (SLA management).
    • Strategic Development: Provide input into and ensure the execution of a comprehensive Sponsorship & Partnership strategy aligned with overall Brand and Business objectives. Champion innovative opportunities that drive long-term brand relevance and market share, informed by in-depth market analysis.
    • Cross-Functional Management: Establish and optimise cross-functional communication channels and processes for partnership campaigns, ensuring effective coordination across teams (Legal, Finance, Creative, Digital, etc.).
    • Budget & Finance: Develop and effectively manage the annual Sponsorship & Partnership budgets, ensuring accurate financial reporting and spend optimization.  Keeping the PEP investment in check and optimizing partnership investments into the properties we look after.

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

    • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing or Business Management  
    • Demonstrated track record (5-8 years) in Marketing or Brand Role 
    • Sponsorship management is an advantage

    • Proven track record in delivering brand strategy, brand identity, brand campaign, sponsorships and PR campaigns

    Key Functional Knowledge & Skills

    Retail Media Sales and Partnership Manager (Northern Suburbs (Cape)

    Description

    • As the leader of the Sales & Partnerships team, you are the commercial architect of PEP Media. Your mission is to build, lead, and inspire a high-performing team of Account Managers (AMs) and Key Account Managers (KAMs). You aren’t just overseeing a sales pipeline; you are building a consultative sales organization that speaks the language of data, ROI, and retail growth.
    • You will sit at the intersection of sales strategy, relationship strategy and team execution, ensuring that PEP Media becomes the "growth-partner" for advertisers and suppliers across Southern Africa.

    Requirements

    • Sales Leadership & People Management: Build and mentor a top-tier sales team, establish a data-driven sales culture, and lead "Top-to-Top" negotiations with C-suite stakeholders to secure multi-million Rand annual commitments.
    • P&L Ownership: Take full accountability for the media revenue budget, forecasting accuracy, and quarterly growth targets.
    • Ecosystem Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert with deep knowledge of the Retail Media (RM) funnel, from top-of-funnel awareness to bottom-of-funnel conversion, and master Closed-Loop Attribution linking media exposure to till-point transactions.
    • Strategic Partnerships: Shift the relationship with key internal and external stakeholders from a "Transactional Vendor" to a "Strategic Growth Partner," aligning advertising with inventory and promotional calendars.
    • Governance & Oversight: Maintain pipeline rigor (CRM mastery), enforce policy, and ensure strict governance over pricing, rate cards, and inventory integrity.

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

    • A degree in Business, Marketing, Media, or Commerce. 
    • 6 - 8 years experience in  Media/Advertising Sales, with at least 4 years in a direct leadership role managing sales teams.
    • A Proven track record in Retail Media, Shopper Marketing, or E-commerce advertising is non-negotiable.
    •  A "Boardroom-ready" reputation with key decision-makers at major FMCG companies and media agencies.
