    Shareholder Identification Analyst (EMEA)

    What’s in it for you:

    Responsibilities:

    • If you are an analytical thinker with ideas and insights to help EMEA issuers engage with global institutional investors, this job is for you.
    • Provide clients with actionable insight into activities of global institutional investors
    • Develop and maintain advisory relationships with the investor relations and executive teams of clients
    • Work together with researchers and analysts globally to identify shareholders of the client
    • Use analytical databases and information to support clients to target and engage with institutional investors
    • Deliver regular and ad-hoc reports to clients on institutional investor activities in the market as well as market impacting topics
    • Participate in the growth and improvement of the team’s service offering to clients

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience
    • Strong communication skills
    • Knowledge of the equity markets, investor relations experience desirable
    • Strong team player who thrives under pressure and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
    • Strong Excel skills or data analytical tools

    Associate Director - Financial Institutions

    As an Associate Director, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the accuracy and timeliness of credit ratings for financial institutions. You will be the key contributor to ratings surveillance and new rating assignments, covering all aspects of rating analysis. You will also engage in market research, publications, and other projects as necessary,

    What We’re Looking For:

    • A S&P employee at this level typically has 6-8 years of relevant work experience, with sound knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis for banks and other financial services companies.

    Sr Specialist, Equity Research/Fixed Income

    You will be part of the Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) country risk team, subject matter experts and external contributors developing the forward-looking insights and analysis for our diverse client set. You will participate in cross-capability collaboration and partner within Insights & Analysis, across GI verticals as well as cultivate strategic, internal relationships to deliver timely actionable intelligence and unique insights to our clients from across the public and private sector.

    Responsibilities

    • Deliver client driven strategic research on political, business and security-related risks for the SSA region. These will include government stability, expropriation, contract risks, regulatory risks, terrorism, civil unrest, and war
    • Deliver analysis on sectors driving economic growth across region, as well analysis on topics related to areas of expansion for GI, including ESG, supply chain and geopolitics. Key regional focus for the role will be on southern and Francophone Africa
    • Maintain existing products and deliverables, meeting S&P Global’s methodological and high-quality standards, and ensuring they reflect latest analytical views in a forward-looking, commercially relevant and timely manner
    • Maintain and grow a resilient and flexible network of external contributors across countries of coverage
    • Engage in innovative approaches to analysis and forecasting, including via the uses of new research methods, tools and GI proprietary data
    • Interact directly with clients through formal presentations, consultancy projects, tailored client work, and media engagements
    • Uphold S&P Global's high stands of quality and style (verbal and written communication) and a regional team culture espousing key values of inclusion, diversity, agility, accountability, commercial relevance and collaboration

    What We’re Looking For

    • A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in politics, international relations, or a closely related field
    • Deep understanding of the Francophone African region’s political, security and business environment
    • Proficiency in a widely spoken regional language, particularly French, will be an advantage.
    • 5+ years of related analysis experience
    • Highly effective organizational and prioritization skills, including the ability to stay on task, meet deadlines and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent communication skills (written as well as verbal) and fluency in English
    • Work independently and regularly collaborate with colleagues across multiple time zones
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Strong self-awareness and cultural intelligence

    Data Associate, Data/Content Management
