ABOUT THE ROLE:

• This role is a permanent full-time position.
• As a Specialist Asset Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for continually improving the Asset Value Optimization processes within an Operation area / defined set of physical assets.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Review and improve total cost of ownership models in order to identify low reliability, high maintainability assets / components / tasks, initiate improvement projects where required.
• Review failure data, conduct failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and system-wide analysis to enhance operations reliability.
• Review spare parts criticality analysis and kitting of store spare parts
• Responsible for the maintenance and updating of all asset care plans, corrective task lists and work instructions for existing assets and assets systems
• Review and evaluate preliminary design concepts, system engineering block diagrams and use RAM Analysis to provide total cost of ownership models for new projects.
• Responsible for the development of all asset care plans, corrective task lists and work instructions for assets and assets systems prior to commissioning.
• Communicate and ensure sign-off of asset care plans, corrective tasks lists, work instructions by the Maintenance Manager

ABOUT YOU:

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years relevant maintenance, asset management or reliability  experience;
• Experience in Reliability principles and calculations;
• Experience in RCM/ACPD process (including FMEA);
• Asset performance analysis experience;
• Experience in fixed plant & equipment
• Underground mine experience (advantageous)

Qualifications for this role are:

• Grade 12 with Mathematics & Science;
• Degree or National Diploma in Electrical  Engineering (Essential)
• Registered CMRP (Advantageous)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role is a permanent full-time position.

• As an Operator Rock Breaker, you will be responsible to secondarily break big or excessive rocks to manageable sizes. The Mobile rock breaker is for big rocks at the loading areas that have been side casted. The Static rock breaker as at the Inpit tip static grizzly for Manganese rocks.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Conduct the pre-shift checks prior to operating machine;
• Conduct the applicable Safe Work Instruction for normal routine tasks or Risk Assessment if non-routine tasks are required;
• Report all equipment defects or unsafe conditions to the control room and supervisor;
• Work with physical assets, plant and equipment as defined by the Operation’s standards and operating procedures;
• Execute production or related activities according to the daily mining schedule;
• Close trenches for pipe columns;
• Ensure continuous judgement to position the moil on the correct position on the rock for effective breaking results and to prevent damaging the machine;
• Ensure continuous judgement to swing the static rock breaker not to damage the Inpit tip infrastructure;
• Create level surfaces for construction sites;
• Clear spillages from hauler bowls on haul roads.

ABOUT YOU:

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Must have a minimum of 1 year experience mining production in surface mining operations;
• Exavator or Mobile Rockbreaker experience in surface mining operations;

Qualifications for this role are:

•  Grade 10 for internal candidates and Grade 12 for external candidates;
•  Equipment license Rockbreaker;
•  Valid Code B Driver’s License
