KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: 

• Determine and execute the company’s Financial Services strategy 
• Responsible for the overall operational management and performance of the department
• Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow the PEPMoney portfolio
• Manage strategic initiatives from inception to execution
• Conclude commercial and contractual negotiations
• Collaborate and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Manage and coach members of the Financial Services team
• Facilitate culture, values and principles inline with that of the company

JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS 

• A business related qualification at a tertiary level
• A minimum of 3 years senior management experience required
• A minimum of 5 years retail experience required
• Experience in the Financial Services industry will be advantageous 
• Proven track record of managing teams
• Strong financial acumen and data analysis skills
• Ability to leverage data and financial analysis to understand problems, identify options, inform decisions and drive targeted outcomes 
• A good understanding of IT systems and digital platforms
• Good judgement, together with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills 
• The ability to influence across various levels and functions within the business 
• The ability to communicate effectively at all levels both within, as well as outside the company 
• Experience in managing projects end to end
• Competent at operating independently
• Willingness to get involved operationally
• Ability to work under pressure in a target driven environment
• Excellent interpersonal, people management & leadership skills
