To implement and support all Authorizations and security specifications and ensure that End User information is functional and secure, for all application modules of the SAP, POS and other applicable systems utilized within the multi Divisions of Massmart.

FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

SAP System Operation and Optimization

• Provide User access all Systems (Setup SAP security; Authorization / Role / Profiles – setup and maintenance)
• Provide general User ongoing support and assist with system maintenance.
• Ensure systems are compliant with audit requirements to maintain system functionality and data security.Identify opportunities for Change and Continuous Improvement engagement with Users.
• Employee billable utilization and service delivery
   

1 Create Business value by:

• Providing a User centric experience to the business.
• Provision of services in terms of existing service level agreements.
• Reduction in turn-around time for Call Resolution.

Cost Management

• Ensure Compliance with Massmart Management and Billing processes and practices to ensure Divisional recovery is accurate.
•  Ensure that the Demand for projects are balanced against maintaining of good relationships with the Divisions.
• Project costs are managed against time and resource allocations
• Project work breakdown is accurate and delivered on time

Human Capital Management and Development

• Prepare for own performance review and give input into performance and development reviews of other team members.
• Ensure that the Company’s core values of Quality and Continuous Improvement are incorporated into own performance plan /scorecard, to enable a culture of High Performance.
•  Continuously strive to develop own skills and knowledge.
• Build staff morale by contributing to team development.
• Provide regular feedback to contribute towards effective communication to other team members
• Participate in feedback sessions from team members to encourage quality communication (two-way Communication systems)
• Ensure that own statutory training requirements are up to date and valid.
   

Strategic Planning
1.Participate in the preparation of the Operational plan of the Authorizations landscape by:

• Providing inputs from Business Users and provide own research into areas that require improvement, new hardware or software requirements
• Ensure that all Change Management activities are clearly communicated to all Business users in preparation for the migration from external vendors to in-house management with minimal disruptions

Requirements:
Minimum Academic, Professional Qualifications & Experience required for this position

• Minimum 3-year Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information
• Technology, Systems Engineering or related qualification.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience administering Authorizations System and using
• Authorizations software process management tools.
• Technical Certification is desired.
• Technical Documentation and Organizational Skills
• Experience with user maintenance
