    IT Support Specialist

    Requirements
    Key Requirements

    • Technical Assistance: Serve as the first point of contact for employees experiencing technical issues. Respond to support tickets and inquiries via phone, email, or chat, providing timely resolutions.
    • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve problems related to desktops, laptops, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and common business applications. Address issues with printers, mobile devices, and network connectivity.
    • System Setup & Configuration: Set up new user accounts, configure email and collaboration tools, and install hardware and software as needed. Perform system upgrades and patches to ensure security and functionality.
    • Maintaining IT Systems: Monitor system performance, collaborate with IT teams, and assist with software updates and security patches.
    • Asset Management: Track IT assets, maintain inventory records, and manage the procurement and decommissioning of IT equipment.
    • User Account & Access Management: Manage user accounts and permissions, handle onboarding and offboarding processes, and ensure appropriate access.
    • Documentation & Knowledge Base: Document technical issues and solutions, build an internal knowledge base, and keep records of recurring problems.
    • Training & Support: Provide training on IT systems, software, and best practices. Offer guidance to non-technical employees to enhance their IT skills.
    • Security Compliance: Ensure compliance with security policies, implement security measures, and assist with enforcing password policies and multi-factor authentication.
    • Collaboration & Escalation: Work with IT department members to resolve complex issues and escalate unresolved problems to specialized teams as needed.

    Educational Qualifications:

    • BSc in Computer Science / Information Systems, BTech/MTech in Information Technology, or relevant accredited IT courses.
    • CompTIA A+ certification or 2+ years relevant work experience.
    • CompTIA N+ certification or 2+ years relevant work experience.
    • Relevant Experience:
    • Strong knowledge of operating systems, hardware, and software applications.
    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
    • Effective communication skills for conveying technical information to non-technical users.
    • Familiarity with ticketing systems and helpdesk tools.

    Intermediate Project Manager

    The Role:

    • If you are delivery focused with a customer-first attitude and are committed to building long-term, trusted relationships with customers and team members, then Electrum’s project manager role will be perfect for you.
    • You will work closely with customers (large banks and retailers) and across Electrum’s sales team and engineering team to drive delivery of projects. The project manager has overall responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of the project, starting with a handover from sales, customer approval, development and ending when you handover to support. All the while building strong relationships with key stakeholders at our customers.

    Requirements

    • A project manager within Electrum’s customer success team, will manage timelines, budget and scope and ensure customer expectations are managed and met.

    You will:

    • Co-ordinate full lifecycle software and customer implementation projects.
    • Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, within budget and of good quality
    • Build strong relationships with customers and third-party providers as well as internally with sales, engineering, product and tech ops teams
    • Manage dependencies
    • Guide the team to ensure the delivery plan is met
    • Facilitate and run project meetings such as status updates and retrospectives
    • Maintain and improve project process
    • Be a customer advocate within Electrum
    • Grow your industry knowledge
    • Contribute to the on-going growth and success of Electrum

    What You Can Bring to Electrum (non-negotiables):

    • Relevant degree
    • 5+ years experience as a project manager on software projects, at least some of which are in a formal or corporate environment
    • Experience working with external clients, preferably in a B2B environment
    • Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization
    • Background in tech/information technology industry
    • A track record of successful delivery working across multiple teams on multiple products in a fast-paced, market-driven environment
    • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
    • Increase your odds by having:
    • Prince 2, PMP or Agile training will be advantageous
    • Financial Services/ Payment /Fintech industry experience
