    Creditors Clerk

    Description

    Creditors (70% of time)

    • Inhouse creditors
    • Request supplier statements
    • Process invoices as per supplier statements
    • Request for invoices not received
    • Reconcile supplier accounts for month end / adhoc weekly payments
    • Load payments for individual suppliers ensuring invoice and banking details are correct
    • Submit payments batches and reconciliations for review and release to Financial Manager and Financial Director

    Job related creditors

    • Request supplier statements
    • Request for all invoices not received
    • Ensure each invoice has a corresponding PO (purchase order) before processing
    • Follow up on outstanding PO’s from production/media
    • Process invoices in WB / NAV
    • Reconcile supplier accounts for month end / adhoc weekly payments
    • Liaise with debtors team ensuring clients have paid before payment to supplier
    • Load payments for individual suppliers ensuring invoice and banking details are correct
    • Submit payments batches and reconciliations for review and release to Financial Manager and Financial Director
    • Forex
    • Request invoices from production / Financial Manager
    • Ensure a corresponding PO exists if job related
    • Complete forex forms on BOL (Business Online Platform) noting exchange rate
    • Attain authorisation from Financial Manager/Director
    • Process invoices in WB noting the forex loss/gain (against the job/GL account)

    Debtors (5% of time)

    • Bill PQ’s (Price Quotes) in accordance to the BI (Billing Instruction) received
    • Bill retainer invoices and agency fees • Follow up on outstanding debt

    Cashbook (5% of time)

    • Print / export bank statements weekly
    • Liaise with Financial Manager / Debtors Clerk(s) regarding payments that are unclear
    • Upload exported excel file into WB
    • Allocate payments and receipts in WB to Debtor, Creditor and GL accounts
    • Update Cashbooks weekly

    General Balance Sheet (5% of time)

    • Reconcile balance sheet accounts (supplier age analysis)
    • Forward reconciliations to Financial Manager for review
    • Attend to query list from FM post review (reasons for anomalies – late payments, negative payments, incorrect allocations etc.)

    Adhoc Tasks (15% of time)

    • Complete additional finance tasks at discretion of Line Manager
    • Ongoing investment in own development as well as keeping up-to-date with relevant knowledge that will be of value to the team and clients
    • Ensure emails are checked regularly and responded to timeously
    • Filing /organising of own digital folder in a manner that makes sense on finance server
    • Add new suppliers to WB as per supplier onboarding form

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Matric with Maths and Accounting required
    • Other relevant finance qualification advantageous

    Experience

    • Minimum of 3-5 years’ Creditors Clerk experience

    Senior Copywriter

    Requirements

    • Minimum relevant experience and skills/attributes required:
    • A solid background in both digital and ATL
    • An eye for detail and the ability to work well under pressure, as well as being up to date with the latest digital marketing trends, techniques and technologies are essential requirements
    • Experience working closely with an art director to generate creative ideas and concepts to fulfil the client's brief
    • Producing scripts and concepts with visual aids and references to communicate ideas to the client
    • Gaining an understanding of the target audience and business which the advert is targeted at
    • Meeting with the creative director and account managers before presenting ideas to clients
    • Pitching ideas to clients (As a copywriter, you will be relied on heavily during presentations, making good presentation skills vital)
    • Attending meetings at production houses and with other directors
    • Ability to collaborate and engage with a production team and third parties (e.g. working with voice-over artists when recording radio ads; sitting in on editing for required elements to oversee the finished product)
    • Checking, guiding and assisting other creatives with their work

    Experience:

    • 7-10 years’ experience as a TTL copywriter in an advertising agency or similar field is a must
    • Experience with TTL copywriting
    • Experience with social media writing and specifications/best practices
    • Experience in high-volume environments with fast turnarounds preferred
    • Experience in a retail advertising environment advantageous but not essential

    Qualifications:

    • A completed tertiary qualification in Copywriting/Marketing or relevant field
    • Third-party platform qualifications (e.g. Google Ad Suites, Meta) preferred but not essential
    • Industry awards are a bonus

    Social Media Manager

    Job scope includes but is not limited to:

    Client Service

    • Build trust through ongoing thought leadership in Social Media
    • Manage creative briefs, client feedback and delivery of content
    • Plan, create timelines, update status, manage deliverables and expectations
    • Set up, manage, conduct and contact report on client presentations
    • When necessary, create cost estimates and manage billings thereof
    • Manage user access to clients’ accounts / tools / reports / dashboards

    Content & Channel Planning

    • Work closely with client & wider client service team
    • Create clear communication plans for activity across platforms
    • Create and direct clients content calendars and social posting schedule with best practice in mind

    Strategic Direction

    • Planned campaigns and Adhoc Client briefs
    • Online listening, trend sourcing, outreach & tactical response
    • Channel health or emerging channel creation
    • Update teams / clients on current and emerging landscape trends, competitor activity and latest news
    • Report on campaign and always on activity and performance

     Content & Channel Administration

    • Work closely with creative & paid media departments
    • Scheduling & deactivation of content across channels
    • Ensure effective searchability / tracking / tagging across content
    • Manage clients creative content bibles

     Content Marketing

    • Work Closely with Strategy, Creative & Production Departments
    • Always On Content, Campaign & Tactical content - purpose & generation
    • Assist and manage the production process of content on social jobs

      Content & Channel Performance Management:

    • Work closely with Strategy department
    • Channel, Content, Campaign and Health Audits / Reporting
    • Benchmark, Review and ROI Reporting
    • Daily performance checks & recommendations
    • Manage Creative Identity of Channel, Content, Templates and Spec sheets. 

     Minimum relevant experience and skills/attributes required:

    • 3+ years experience managing social media
    • Experience working on all current & emerging social platforms.
    • A positive attitude towards tight deadlines.
    • Enjoys a fast-paced agency environment with rapidly changing priorities.
    • Self-motivated, hardworking and eager to learn attitude.
    • Excellent analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills are a must
    • Ability to think strategically, creatively and out-of-the-box.
    • Excellent attention to detail.
    • Exceptional writing, communication and confident presentation skills.
    • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
    • Valid, driver's license and own transport.

    Minimum education requirements:

    • Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Brand Communications or similar
