Requirements:

• Relevant HPCSA/SANC registration (Required), Relevant Phlebotomy or Nursing qualification (Required)

Required Experience:

• Experience as a Phlebotomist or similar position within a pathology or hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain good client relations and promote the image of Ampath., Manage the money/cash flow of the Care Centre to facilitate the collection of payments for phlebotomy services rendered., Perform administrative tasks to ensure correct recording and processing of information., Perform phlebotomy procedures to ensure sufficient delivery of the Care Centre services., Perform safety and quality control tasks to ensure that relevant standards are upheld.

Purpose of Position:

• To clean the lab and pick up already collected samples and deliver reports to hospital wards and Dr’ rooms and to assist the nursing staff with ad hoc tasks.

Requirements:

• Grade 10, Grade 12

Required Experience:

• Knowledge of Cleaning Processes

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver reports and collect specimen in order to ensure sufficient service delivery to clients, Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath, Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath, Perform administration related duties within the depot in to order to assist the Nursing staff with depot tasks

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Health Sciences Medical Laboratory Science, HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field

Required Experience:

• Experience in pathology laboratory environment, Knowledge: Ampath QC procedures, Knowledge: Instrumentation and Methodologies, Knowledge: Meditech system, Knowledge: MS Windows, Knowledge: relevant pathology test procedures, Knowledge of Ampath Safety, Health and Environment management policy

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with Switchboard functions in order to correctly refer client requests, Assist with training client service employees to ensure competence, Implement safety and emergency procedures to ensure safe/ continues working conditions., Maintain good client relations to promote the professional image of Ampath., Maintain provider and route dictionaries., Perform departmental administrative tasks.
