• 3 years Tertiary qualification / Leadership Management or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years of experience in conceptualizing, designing, implementing, and managing air traffic management operations or functions of which at least 5 years must be at Pool Manager level within a complex air traffic services / air traffic management environment

Alternative Formal qualifications and Experience: 

• Air traffic control (aerodrome control, or approach control, or area control)
• Formal leadership training or Management Development Program
• Minimum 10 years of experience in conceptualizing, designing, implementing, and or managing air traffic management Operations or functions of which at least 6 years must be at Pool Manager level within a complex air traffic services / air traffic management environment.

Job description

• To provide ATS specific and related generic training and development services to clients, in accordance with laid down internal and external regulations, rules, directives and procedures. 

Minimum requirements
Formal Qualifications: 

• Matric/ High school diploma
• Bachelor’s degree is preferable.
• Has completed all relevant rating courses from ICAO approved academy/school or college.
• Train- the-Trainer course from ICAO approved academy/school or college.
• Certificate of competence for assessor and moderator courses.
• ICAO English language proficiency (ELP) level 5.

Experience:

• Have / had ATC license from ICAO approved authority for a period of 10 years or more with the Area Procedural / Surveillance and Approach Procedural / Surveillance ratings or all validated ATS rating disciplines.
• Have ATS Instructor license / certificate issued by ICAO approved authority for 5 years or more.
• Operational experience with ATC simulators including scenario design for simulator platform (e.g. TopSky, ATC Coach etc)
• Experience demonstrating excellent teaching and classroom management techniques.
• Experience of strong technical skills with current ATC automation, simulator systems and procedures.
• Experience of 5 years as an assessor and moderator.
• Experience of course development (Competency based training & assessment) would be valuable.

Job description

• SLOT ALLOCATION – Receiving and analyzing the requirements for slot booking from aircraft operators. Checking availability and allocation of slots. Ensuring equity when allocating slots to all aircraft operators. Advising clients with approvals / non approvals / offers / additional requirements for slot bookings. Keeping record of all received and approved / non approvals / offered requests. Submission of Daily slot sheets to ATC Centers and aircraft operators. Ensuring that deadlines are adhered to as laid down by IATA Scheduling Calendar. Attending IATA slot conference to interact with airline scheduling management and coordinating slots. Ensuring new entrants are accommodated equitably and fairly. Ensuring slots are allocated in accordance with IATA guidelines. Ensuring slots are allocated fairly and equitably even when IATA guidelines cannot be used. Maintaining “wait list” for aircraft operators. Continually seeking to find slot improvements for aircraft operators. Negotiating with aircraft operators to swap slots with each other. Meeting with operators to discuss/finalize schedule, etc. Maintaining / Upgrading Score Software. Managing OCS. Tracking, filing, archiving e-mails – operator’s queries and requests, general correspondence. Building, maintain and update constraints for various airports – Pax, runway and parking. Managing various projects where Slot Coordinators are required, e.g. SWC
• SLOT COMPLIANCE AND DATA COLLECTION - Carrying out slot compliance on all 3 coordinated airports on a monthly basis. Completing 80/20 rule compliance. Advising aircraft operators of historic slots and negotiating discrepancies. Analysis of Slot booking requests. Analysis of Slot utilizations for all Coordinated Airports. Analysis of Slot occupancy per operator. Carrying out additional statistical gathering analysis as required from time to time. Slot information is correlated to RPL and Schedules as published by Airlines. Providing Airlines slot information to the relevant RPL officer / specialist
• TRAINING - Training of CAMU staff on Slot Compliance. Training ATNS personnel on slot allocation procedures where applicable. Training aircraft operators on slot allocation procedures and OCS

Job description

• Incoming emails -Receiving mails from [email protected] email address. Distribute invoices to relevant departments or stations on day of receipt. Check received invoices and purchase orders for correctness, return if queried.
• Processing of invoices and payments - Match invoice with GRN and PO as reflected on invoice. Capture received invoices and credit notes on the system within 24 hours of receipt
• Confirm supplier bank details. Payments to be made in next pay run after invoices received
• Forward payment recons for authorization. Email remittance advices to suppliers once payments are made.
• Creditors Reconciliation - Prepare and submit payment recon from supplier statement to APTB. Liaise with business for outstanding invoices and queries.  Contact suppliers for statements, invoices and any other queries.
• Liaise with Internal & External clients - Attend to queries from suppliers, end users and auditors timeously. Provide documentation as requested, ensure filing is up to date for ease of document retrieval. Adhere and comply with ISO Procedures. Ensure that CIR’s (if any) are completed and rectified.
• Monthly accruals and GRN clearing - Ensure accruals are done monthly for invoices outstanding as per supplier statement. Ensure processing of invoices for GRN created.
• Liaise with end user timeously to obtain invoices not received that have been receipted
