Bluekey Network Solutions a partner company of Bluekey Seidor is looking for an experienced Senior IT Consultant to join a growing Johannesburg team.

The successful candidate will assist clients with all their IT needs.

Qualification and Requirements

• MCITP (Microsoft Certified IT Professional) or equivalent required
• Mimecast and Office365 Certifications (advantage)
• Must have at least 5 years’ experience within a similar environment
• Must have Valid Drivers’ License and Own Reliable Vehicle (will be reimbursed for business travel)
• Willing to Travel to Customer Sites on daily basis
• Must be available for Standby over Weekends and Public Holidays

Essential Technical Knowledge

• Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating System
• Microsoft Windows Server
• Microsoft Exchange
• Microsoft Remote Desktop Services
• Microsoft Active Directory
• Strong knowledge of networking, including routing, switching and firewalls
• Office 365
• Advantageous Knowledge:
• Sonicwall Firewalls

Responsibilities

• Network connectivity issues (e.g., user not able to access the network share files)
• Internet connectivity issues (e.g., logging calls with ISP)
• Printer issues (e.g., printer not printing)
• Installation of 3rd party software (e.g., Adobe, pdf writer, java etc.)
• Antivirus troubleshooting (e.g., AV blocking of software)
• Email issues (e.g., user not able to send or receive emails)
• Workstations backups and reformat (windows and software installation)
• Troubleshoot exchange issues (e.g. creation of users, setup forwards, aliases, etc.)
• DHCP & DNS issues (e.g. creation of exclusions, issues with DHCP leases)
• Experience with setup and management of virtualizations (e.g. Hyper-V,VMware, Oracle Virtual box, etc.)
• Management of server and desktop backups (e.g. Symantec, Free File Sync, Windows backups, etc.)
• Server maintenance (e.g. troubleshooting of event logs)
• Able to work as a team & provide customer service
• Ability to escalate or ask for assistance when needed on a timely manner
• Must be open and excited to learn new technologies

The job is challenging and stimulating and would suit Accountants or Business Solution consultants with experience in SAP Business One, Sage, Syspro, Evolution, Navision and similar ERP's etc. Bluekey's client base is largely SME and large enterprise subsidiaries, with rom 5-200 ERP system users.

Cross training to SAP Business One and industry solutions will be provided.

Qualification and Requirements

• Matric + Certificate, Diploma or Degree in IT or related field is an advantage
• At least 3 years of relevant ERP Software implementation experience
• Very comfortable with business processed and terminology
• Very good at engaging and working with people at all levels in an organization
• Travel is an Essential part of Consulting. License / Own Vehicle Required

Technical Skills:

• Strong SQL Skills (Exposure to SAP HANA is an Advantage)
• Crystal Reports or similar reporting tools
• Integration Toolsets and Methodology
• Basic development in C# / Visual basic or similar language is an

• The role is multi-dimensional; for smaller projects, you may work largely alone but coalesce into project teams for larger or more complex engagements
• Translate business requirements into a workable solution that you will implement
• Business analysis skills necessary to conduct workshops to gather and document requirements and functional (or tehnical) specifications
• Might have more of technical bent focusing instead on integration, BI, stored procs and even basic development
• While an ERP project is generally a team-effort, you will be exposed to and involved in the complete ERP implementation cycle including:

Bluekey Seidor is looking for an experienced developer to deliver development solution services on new and existing ERP projects. We currently have a vacancy for a Software Developer within our Johannesburg branch. The job is challenging & stimulating and would suit developers with experience in ERP Systems such as SAP Business One, Sage, Navision, and similar ERP’s.

Formal Instruction will be provided in

• The SAP Business One ERP
• The SAP Business SDK Development Environment
• Bluekey Seidor’s Software Development Methodology and Framework.

Qualification and Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• Completed Matric
• Certification or a Degree in Software Development (advantage)
• 3+ years solid development experience working with .NET C# specifically. Thorough working knowledge of C# is absolutely critical.
• Solid experience in stored procedures and MS SQL Server.
• Strong software engineering skills and an understanding of development methodologies and software design patterns.
• Ability to debug and optimize new and existing software solutions
• Ability to understand customer specification and relate that into software solutions, as well as to pre-empt possible issues that users might enquire with the solutions and apply the necessary ‘bulletproofing’.

Beneficial Qualifications:

• Experience working within an ERP environment (SAP B1, Sage, etc.)
