    Cabin Crew Recruitment Advisor - (12 months Contract) - South Africa

    • As part of the Cabin Crew recruitment team your role will deliver a seamless recruitment experience for the Emirates Group in South Africa from sourcing to hiring ensuring candidates align with our values and are capable of excelling in their roles This is an exciting time of transformational change offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of our workforce as part of the fast-paced team.

    In this role, you will:

    • Plan, Execute and Develop yearly recruitment plans for assigned departments
    • Campaign Support: Manage volume recruitment for Cabin Crew both locally and globally
    • Strategic Sourcing: Collaborate to choose the best recruitment channels IVN job boards LinkedIn etc and leverage technology to identify top candidates
    • Selection Expertise: Recommend and implement effective recruitment methodologies eg. assessment centres and guide hiring managers in making informed decisions
    • Relationship Building: Maintain professional relationships both internally and externally including candidates ensuring a positive experience and adherence to best practices
    • Market Insight: Provide regional expertise on market trends and employment practices to promote Emirates as an employer of choice
    • Continuous Improvement: Offer insights and recommendations to enhance recruitment performance and efficiency
    • Community Engagement: Engage with hospitality schools and represent Emirates at career events
    • Agency Management: Oversee recruitment agencies to ensure they uphold Emirates Groups standards and brand image
    • Administrative Support: Handle all recruitment related administrative tasks efficiently

    Qualification
    To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:

    • 12 yrs schooling or equivalent
    • 5 years of recruitment experience inhouse or agency recruiter OR 2 years of recruitment experience inhouse or agency or 2 years as CabinCrew

    You'll have an edge if you have:

    • Desirable SHRM,HRCI or any other HR professional certification
    • Must be able to travel to cover recruitment campaigns
    • Experience with various selection processes such as digital assessments, video interviewing, telephone interviewing, reference checks.
    • Ability to conduct interviews using a behavioral competency framework
    • Ability to organize skills assessment centers, In tray activities, work samples, presentation topics
    • Ability to formulate and maintain strategic relationships with local partnership organizations i.e hospitality schools and recruitment agencies
    • In depth understanding for regional best practice and recruitment trends within their chosen region with demonstrable experience for driving performance improvement
    • Demonstrable experience of using dashboard tools to monitor key recruitment metrics enabling informed decision making and timely adjustments to strategies
    • Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all processes
    • Familiarity with HRIS databases ATS systems and CMS Systems
    • Excellent communication skills written and verbal and fluent in English - Additional languages are desirable

    Supervisor Airport Services - Durban

    • To ensure that the service offered is timely, efficient, professional, and of the highest level, as per the criteria set forth by the Company's commercial, safety and security policies, standards and procedures. To supervise and coordinate all internal and external agencies, such as handling agents, service providers, other airlines and various authorities. To ensure that all relevant areas of operations are fully covered.
    • Analyse anticipated operational problems such as over bookings, adverse weather, delays, cancellation of flights, crew flight time limitations etc., and undertake remedial and pro-active action in line with relevant procedures to minimise disruption to customers.
    • Ensure that Handling Agent, Caterer and other service providers are fully briefed regarding Emirates' requirements for the day's operation (including any special handling) and that this information is updated as necessary in order to ensure a smooth and cost effective operation and that any inconvenience to our customers are minimised.
    • Ensure that all post flight activity is completed correctly in order to protect Company revenue and to facilitate the handling of customers and dead load at an-route stations and destinations.
    • Respond to queries, complaints and claims in an efficient and timely manner in order to restore passenger confidence. Undertake various administrative functions and other duties as directed from time to time by the Airport Services Manager or Airport Services Officer.
    • Process all baggage claims and control expenditure on damaged baggage replacements and lost baggage claims as per applicable procedures and in a timely manner.
    • Support and cover the Emirates' ticket desk, where applicable, and undertake ticketing/reservation duties to ensure seamless service to customers.
    • Support, coach and develop airport services agents and other relevant personnel to ensure that they are fully briefed/debriefed of the operational requirements and they provide the required Customer service levels.
    • Assist the ASM in conducting staff performance reviews in line with performance matters (i.e. setting staff's objectives and development plan) and support the performance management process by ensuring feedback is provided to staff during PM reviews within stipulated time limits.
    • Carry out credit card verification and travel document checks diligently.
    • When required support duties in the Emirates' lounge. Liaise with service providers and supervise contracted staff, overseeing catering, cleaning and maintenance operations and ensure service standards are met and maintained.

    Qualifications:

    • Grade 12 or equivalent.
    • Must have completed relevant and recognised professional training courses in Customer Services and Ground Operations.

    Experience:

    • Given the specific requirements at outstations, a minimum of 4 years' Airline industry experience is required.

    Knowledge/Skills:

    • A working knowledge of reservations / fares and ticketing, departure control systems.
    • Knowledge of baggage tracing and claims handling.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Word/ E-mail/ Excel advantageous.
    • Fluent in spoken and written English.
    • Advanced skills in customer service delivery.
    • Must be eligible to live and work in South Africa.
