    Trade Support Analyst

    • Join us as a Trade Support Analyst in our Backoffice Trade Support team where you will be focused on monitoring and ensuring that the risk-reward balance within the business is clearly understood by senior management, and that the physical exposure, such as Listed Oil, Power Gas, and Carbon, is accurately valued. This role requires an individual who can offer strong support and maintain a proactive, clear communication style, working closely with the Trade Support Manager, Brokers, and Risk Management teams to ensure effective coordination and alignment.

    GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:

    • Broker recap/Commissions – Verifying/ reconcile Broker recaps and EOM Invoices for OTC Swaps/Options and Exchange Traded Futures.
    • Bilateral Confirmations – Issuing and checking counterparty confirmations either electronically via E-confirm or Paper Confirmations.
    • Internal Checks – Check Internal Futures and Swaps with Singapore/US along with intersystem activity.
    • BFOET Partials – Issuing and checking Incoming Confirmations.
    • EOM costs allocations – IM and Costs allocations to the desk.
    • Ensure practices abide by internal guidelines and external regulations.
    • Develop innovative ways to improve procedures.
    • Respond to queries and issues raised by brokers.
    • Liaise with line managers to ensure effective delivery of service and information.
    • Provide basic trouble shooting and identify issues.
    • Escalate incidents immediately when required.
    • Produce daily, monthly and annual reports where required.
    • Any other ad hoc duties that may be required from time to time.

    QUALIFICATION & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Diploma in Finance, commerce, accounting etc. (NQF6)

    Experience:

    • Prior relevant work experience of 1 to 2 years’ is preferred.
    • Trade experience is advantageous.
    • Account reconciliation experience advantageous.
    • Awareness of market and industry trends.
    • Coding skills in VBA, Python advantageous.
    • Computer literate MS Office. Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills.

    Rhovan - Superintendent (Projects)

    In this role you will be responsible for:

    • Lead and deliver large-scale capital projects from feasibility studies through to commissioning and handover.
    • Ensure engineering designs comply with all legal, regulatory, operational and governance requirements.
    • Manage multidisciplinary engineering activities covering mechanical, electrical, civil and instrumentation disciplines.
    • Drive procurement strategies, contract administration, tender processes and supplier management.
    • Oversee project budgets, cost control, forecasting and reporting.
    • Manage project schedules, risks, quality assurance and change management processes.
    • Ensure compliance with Mine Health and Safety legislation, HSEQ requirements and company standards.
    • Lead project teams, contractors, consultants and service providers to achieve project objectives safely, on time and within budget.
    • Support the overall management and continuous improvement of the Projects Department. 

    About you:

    • National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering
    • Minimum 8 years’ experience 
    • Must have own transport and a valid driver’s license
    • Medically fit to perform work at a mine
    • Communicate clearly in English
    • Internally motivated and capable of working with a team, as team leader or completely isolated without supervision
    • Strong business communication, people management, employee relations and HSEQ knowledge.

    Rhovan - Coordinator Mine

    In this role you will be responsible for:

    • Coordinate and monitor daily mining activities (drilling, blasting, loading and hauling) to meet daily and weekly production targets.
    • Ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved.
    • Optimise equipment utilisation and operational efficiency.
    • Ensure full compliance with MHSA and site-specific safety standards.
    • Manage operational challenges.
    • Compile and submit production, safety and operational reports.
    • Work closely with geology to ensure accurate ore/waste identification and optimise safe, efficient production in line with Mine plans.
    • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure equipment availability, minimise downtime and optimise maintenance for safe and efficient mining operations.

    About you:

    • Grade 12
    • Valid Blasting Certificate for Opencast Mines
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in open-cast mining operations, including 2 years in supervisory experience
    • Planning and coordination ability
    • Good communication and reporting skills
    • Leadership and people management skills
    • Must have own transport and a valid driver’s license
    • Medically fit to perform work at a mine
    • Computer literacy

    Secretary (Manager) - C2

    In this role you will be responsible for:

    • Coordinating appointments and commitments of Mine Manager by updating the diaries accordingly.
    • Screening correspondence and calls for the Mine Manager.
    • Arrange all required travel arrangements and booking for corporate events.
    • Responsible for documentation required at various meetings, including taking minutes and presentations.
    • Compile month end reports.
    • Responsible for boardroom bookings, stationery and consumables replenishment and management.
    • Responsible for good housekeeping by ensuring venues are clean and presentable and
    • Arrangements of operational visits, functions, and events as and when required
    • Supervise and manage relevant staff, i.e. cleaning and laundry.
    • Liaising with departmental managers.
    • Manage filling system and assisting with ad hoc administration.
    • Preparation and submission of accurate daily production reports.
    • Recording, compiling, and managing minutes using Isometrix.
    • Oversight of HODs’ to-do lists to ensure timely execution of departmental priorities.
    • Drafting and issuing internal and external letters on behalf of the Mine Manager.
    • Responsible for ordering, tracking, and managing all office requirements to ensure smooth operations.
