    Driver

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Vehicle Maintenance.
    • Loading, Driving & Offloading vehicle.
    • Customer service.
    • Warehouse Assistance.
    • SHEQ Integrated Management System control.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

    VEHICLE MAINTENANCE

    • Conduct vehicle inspections weekly.
    • Ensure vehicle inspection checklists are completed accurately.
    • Report any deviations immediately to the Warehouse Supervisor.
    • Ensure fuel consumption is achieved as per company standards.
    • Ensure vehicle is always clean and presentable.

    LOADING, DRIVING & OFFLOADING VEHICLE

    • Assist with packing and load product onto vehicles according to company specifications.
    • Verify quality of products loaded onto vehicle.
    • Ensure correct stock is loaded onto the vehicle as per the Invoice.
    • Ensure goods is properly secured on the vehicle.
    • Efficient delivery of orders to customers on assigned routes, on time and in full.
    • Ensure effective route planning.
    • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure all relevant paperwork is signed and returned.
    • Complete trips sheets as per delivery requirements and ensure authorisation before departure.
    • Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer and ensure PODs are signed according to requirements and submitted to admin office daily.
    • Offload product at customer site as per client requirements.
    • Pre-load vehicles for next –day deliveries.
    • Collect outworks and credits as required by the needs of the company and complete all required paperwork accurately.
    • Ensure Credits Return Slip Voucher is completed and signed accordingly.
    • Always ensure adherence to Road Traffic Act.
    • Comply with all traffic laws and follow safe driving practices while operating a company vehicle.
    • Report any traffic offences to the Warehouse Supervisor immediately.
    • Ensure driver’s license and PrDPs are always valid.

    CUSTOMER SERVICE

    • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, team members, and customers to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
    • Market H Systems products to current and new potential customers.
    • Ensure adherence to customer site regulations.
    • Communicate potential sales opportunities with customers to the Branch.
    • Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional and courteous manner during deliveries.

    WAREHOUSE ASSISTANCE

    • Assist in the warehouse as may be required by the operational needs of the company.
    • Ensure effective wrapping of the product according to company procedures, to ensure protection of the product.
    • Ensure that all stock is correctly and neatly located, binned, and always displayed.
    • Conduct stock counts, as required.

    SHEQ INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CONTROL

    • Ensure adherence to the OHS Act.
    • Take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves of other persons.
    • Co-operate with the employer to enable prescribed duties or requirements to be complied with.
    • Carry out any lawful order given and obey the health and safety rules and procedures.
    • Report any unsafe or unhealthy situation to the employer.
    • Report any incident to the employer.
    • Comply with health and safety processes.
    • Ensure the warehouse maintains and complies with standards of health and safety, and hygiene always.
    • Always maintain high standards of housekeeping.
    • Ensure PPE is always worn in the warehouse.
    • Ensure vehicles are always clean.
    • Participate in any Integrated Management System activities as required.
    • Identify and report opportunities for improvement, Non-Conformances, and Incidents in area of responsibility.
    • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
    • Always maintain a high level of customer service levels standards.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Grade 12 or equivalent.
    • Valid Code 8 (B) driver’s license & PrDP.

    Stock Controller

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Stock Control.
    • Administration.
    • Warehouse Assistance.
    • SHEQ Integrated Management System control.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

    STOCK CONTROL

    • Ensure stock control and reconcile physical stock with recorded inventory levels (SAGE).
    • Ensure all bins are used effectively, marked correctly and product codes displayed on correct location.
    • Conduct stock counts.
    • Ensure all stock is quality checked and binned correctly and timeously.
    • Ensure all physical stock items are allocated to a bin.
    • Ensure that all stock is correctly and neatly located, binned, and displayed.
    • Report any damaged stock to the Warehouse Supervisor.
    • Move the damaged stock to the quarantine area for review by Warehouse Supervisor.
    • Ensure effective wrapping of the product according to company procedures, to ensure protection of the product.
    • Oversee, complete, and ensure stock takes are conducted.
    • Count stock and ensure all bins required to be counted for the day are closed off on same day.
    • Conduct 2nd counts of stock as required.
    • Ensure all bins are counted in full by month end.
    • Ensure stock discrepancies are reported to the Warehouse Supervisor.
    • Investigate all stock discrepancies.
    • Continuously review and streamline stock control processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.

    ADMINISTRATION

    • Produce reports and statistics monthly, or as required.
    • Stock variance report.
    • Stocktake progress report.
    • Stock valuation report.
    • Stock shortage reports.
    • Ensure all stock are allocated to bins on SAGE.
    • Ensure stock journals are completed on SAGE.
    • Ensure all stock items in the warehouse has cost value allocated to it.
    • Ensure non-stock warehouse is cleared monthly.
    • Inspect x codes (BOM Control codes) and ensure that all x codes on the system are cleared to 0.
    • Additional reports as may be required.
    • Ensure data systems are accurate and always updated.
    • Ordering of packaging material for the branch.
    • Control packaging material and box stock to always ensure sufficient stock levels.

    WAREHOUSE ASSISTANCE

    • Assist in another position if there is an operational constraint.
    • Assist with driving responsibilities, including driving a company vehicle, if hold a valid driver’s license.
    • Comply with all traffic laws and follow safe driving practices while operating a company vehicle.

    Receiving Assistant

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

    RECEIVING CONTROL

    • Ensure all deliveries are received, checked, and confirmed correctly and timeously.
    • Receiving all stock delivered from a supplier or a return from a customer.
    • Ensure stock received via containers are correct and meets company quality standards.
    • Ensure that the stock colours match company standards.
    • Unloading of goods into the receiving department.
    • Count & inspect the unloading of goods.
    • Report all damaged stock/incomplete transfers to the Receiving Controller immediately upon discovery thereof.
    • Ensuring that all stock is correctly and neatly located, binned, and always displayed.
    • Ensure stock is binned timeously.
    • Ensure adherence to stacking and storage requirements at all times.
    • Ensure bins are tidy, always have bin numbers and stock labels.

    ADMINISTRATION

    • Always ensure effective receiving administration.
    • All receiving paperwork are completed accurately.

    WAREHOUSE ASSISTANCE

    • Assist in another position if there is an operational constraint.
