    Supply Planner

    Job Brief:

    We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Supply Planner to join our logistics team. As a Supply Planner, you will be working directly under the Supply Chain Analyst where you will keep track of inventory, anticipate demand, and suggest purchases to ensure production continuity. To be successful as a Supply Planner, you should be able to identify and anticipate market trends and suggest purchases to maintain suitable stock levels.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assessing the inventory storage capabilities of the business.
    • Counting and tracking inventory.
    • Anticipating stock demands based on current and future business functions.
    • Analyzing and anticipating market trends for the best time to purchase inventory.
    • Forecast materials demand and compile purchase requests for the procurement dept.
    • Assist QC with supplier returns
    • Keeping record of and tracking supplier non-conformances.
    • Creating inventory reports and presenting suggestions to Management
    • Ensuring the business has a steady flow of stock without overcapitalizing on materials.
    • Suggesting changes to inventory warehousing to meet increased or reduced demand.
    • Assist the Procurement manager in identifying poor supplier behavior eg. Late deliveries etc.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Logistics, or a related field.
    • At least 3 years of experience working in logistics or supply chain management.
    • APICS or other Certification preferred
    • Detailed knowledge of logistics and inventory management.
    • Advanced mathematical and analytical skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to write and present detailed inventory reports.

    Production Planner

    Job brief

    We are looking for a qualified Production Planner to organize production according to demand and quality standards.

    An excellent production planner is well-versed in production procedures and ways to optimize them. They are organized and results-driven with great problem-solving skills. Advanced communication and computer skills are very useful for the role.

    The goal is to ensure the smooth and cost-efficient flow of our production operations.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate production workflow for multiple products
    • Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
    • Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand
    • Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
    • Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
    • Prepare and submit status and performance reports
    • Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and other staff
    • Schedule usage of production materials to ensure optimal production levels
    • Monitor material supply flow and identify any shortages or bottlenecks in usage
    • Identify and resolve problems relating to inventory
    • Develops a production schedule detailing all tasks and when they should be completed by to meet predicted completion date
    • Plan stock transfers from storage location to production
    • Assistance in preparing annual budget
    • Collating reports for Management

    Requirements

    • Two to Three years of experience in the industry.
    • BA degree or its equivalent.
    • APICS or other Certification preferred
    • Proven experience as production planner
    • Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
    • Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
    • Good at math and statistics, an analytic thinker.
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication abilities

    Demand Planner

    Job Brief:

    We are looking for a qualified Demand Planner to use analytical, marketing, and sales data to effectively estimate future product demands. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning inventory flow, planning space requirements, analyzing statistical data, and generating forecasting solutions to assist the production- and supply planners to improve product flow in the supply chain.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) for multiple time horizons
    • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
    • Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
    • Use and maintain the Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting system tool.
    • Provide input to the Supply Planning and Production Planning functions in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
    • Closely coordinate and communicate customer action plans with supply planning
    • Improved relationships among planners, sales, marketing and finance, which will lead to effective knowledge sharing and an optimal consensus forecast to better guide the company.

    Requirements

    • Two to Three years of experience in the industry.
    • BA degree or its equivalent.
    • APICS or other Certification preferred
    • Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.
    • Experienced with other software packages including Windows, and Microsoft Office. This position requires strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the forecast process. Good facilitation skills are required.
