    Internal Consultant (14127)

    Description

    • Interacting with high-net-worth private clients
    • Good interpersonal skills to maintain client relationships

    Negotiating with internal and external stakeholders regarding the closing of deals which includes:

    • Credit
    • Legal Risk and Records Management

    • Property Risk
    • Accounts and Finance Admin
    • Panel Attorneys
    • Implementation of offshore foreign currency transactions which requires collaboration with stakeholders in other branches i.e. Johannesburg and the United Kingdom

    Implementation of commercial, non-standard, secured and unsecured loans for the Structured Property Finance business which includes the following:

    • Onboarding of new clients – FICA and Company info collation

    • Instruction of property valuations and obtaining all supporting documents from client
    • Reviewing of loan documents and liaising with Legal & Tech and external counsel
    • Facilitating signature of loan agreements
    • Liaise with external legal counsel and internal stakeholders on Property Release and Cancellation process
    • Covenant monitoring including communication of Margin Call breaches to client
    • Credit signoffs for change in collateral/security
    • Overall client book management on Periscope

    Qualifications, Experience and Skills

    • B-Com OR property qualification or +8 years banking experience
    • At least four-year experience in banking / financial services

    Power Platform Engineer Client Tech (13838)

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design, build and maintain production-grade solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse.
    • Provide experienced technical guidance on solution design, platform fit, scalability, security, supportability and maintainability.
    • Assess business requirements and advise when Power Platform is appropriate, when it is not, and what alternative approach should be considered.
    • Support the administration and ongoing improvement of the Power Platform estate across environments, access, security, connectors, capacity and platform configuration.
    • Define, implement and improve Power Platform governance, guardrails and Center of Excellence practices.
    • Monitor platform usage, solution ownership, compliance, risk, performance and operational health, and drive remediation where required.
    • Establish and promote standards, reusable components, templates, reference patterns and practical guidance for makers and delivery teams.
    • Review existing solutions and identify technical debt, unsupported patterns, security concerns and opportunities for simplification or improvement.
    • Apply application lifecycle management practices across development, test and production environments, working with DevOps engineers on controlled deployment processes.
    • Automate recurring platform administration, governance and operational processes where appropriate.
    • Coach makers and technical teams on good Power Platform practices while providing appropriate challenge and oversight for higher-risk solutions.
    • Evaluate new Power Platform, Copilot and automation capabilities through research, proofs of concept and structured recommendations.
    • Use platform insights, delivery experience and stakeholder feedback to guide priorities and contribute to the Power Platform roadmap.

    Qualifications, Experience and Skills 

    • At least eight years of hands-on Microsoft Power Platform experience, including significant experience delivering and supporting solutions in production.
    • Strong experience developing canvas apps, model-driven apps and cloud flows using Power Apps and Power Automate.
    • Strong practical knowledge of Dataverse, including data modelling, relationships, security roles, solutions and integration considerations.
    • Demonstrated experience administering Power Platform environments through the Power Platform admin centre.
    • Practical experience implementing Power Platform governance, environment strategies, Data Loss Prevention policies, connector controls, capacity management and ownership standards.
    • Experience assessing solution architecture and identifying appropriate and inappropriate Power Platform use cases and design patterns.
    • Experience reviewing or improving existing apps and flows for performance, security, maintainability, reliability and supportability.
    • Experience with application lifecycle management, managed solutions, environment variables, connection references and controlled deployment practices.
    • Good understanding of enterprise security, compliance, audit and operational risk considerations within a managed platform.
    • Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills across apps, flows, Dataverse and platform administration.
    • Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions and explain trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Ability to operate independently, make sound recommendations and influence platform direction through experience and evidence.
    • Proficiency in using AI-enabled productivity tools, such as Copilot, to improve efficiency, generate insight and support decision-making. Applies critical thinking and sound judgement when interpreting outputs, remains accountable for the quality and accuracy of their work.

    Preferred Qualifications 

    • Relevant Microsoft Power Platform certifications, ideally PL-400, PL-600 or equivalent practical experience.
    • Experience with the Power Platform CoE Starter Kit, Managed Environments and platform administration tooling.
    • Experience with Power Platform pipelines, Azure DevOps, source control and enterprise application lifecycle management.
    • Exposure to APIs, custom connectors, Azure services and enterprise integration patterns.
    • Experience with Copilot Studio, AI Builder or other Microsoft AI capabilities within governed enterprise environments.
    • Development experience using JavaScript, C#, .NET, Power Fx or Power Platform Component Framework.
    • Experience defining technical standards, solution review processes, reference architectures or governance controls.
    • Experience in financial services or another regulated environment.
    • Experience working within a platform, governance or enablement team.

    Risk Analysis and Reporting (14171)

    Key Responsibilities

    • Providing strategic advice, analysis and information thereon relating to a specific sector as well as various ad hoc information and projects over time by providing portfolio and deal level views of key metrics
    • Preparation of, or presentation of, regular reports for credit and risk committees (including, but not exclusive to, monthly credit risk dashboards, rating agency packs, annual financial statements, ad hoc queries from investor relations, rating agencies, management, executives etc.)
    • Accurate and careful review of information ensuring that data reported and presented is relevant for the audience, accurate, reconciled and auditable
    • Developing improvements and continuously reviewing relevance of reporting to ensure it remains appropriate for the various stakeholders
    • Develop close working relationships and good communication with Credit, Finance, Business units, Data governance, Credit models, ESG team, Risk IT and GLO teams to fully understand underlying exposures
    • Identifying opportunities to make portfolio analysis and processes of collation and presentation of information more timely and efficient through automation of reporting, while ensuring accuracy is not compromised
    • Ability to liaise with accountants in order to understand how a deal has been booked from an accounting perspective and assist financial control with credit packs and the reconciliation of data in the data warehouse to the general ledger
    • Implement IRB reports in the credit packs and wider organization
    • Lead further collaboration in the broader team with Capital demand and Finrep returns
    • Month end system reconciliation and managing the IFRS 9-month end process

    Qualifications, Experience and Skills

    • Qualified accountant preferrable with relevant Credit Risk reporting experience
