• A well-established mine based in Limpopo is currently seeking an experienced and qualified Chief Safety Officer to join their highly engaged and dynamic workforce.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree or National Diploma in Safety Management
• Blasting Certificate / Trade Test Certificate
• 3 years working experience as a Chief Safety Officer in an underground mining environment
• Eight years working experience in the field of SHE in the Mining Environment
• Knowledge and experience in risk management ISO 31001 and ISO 45001.
• Knowledge and experience in incident investigation.

To Succeed In This Role, You Will Have

• National Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Mining Engineering
• GCC Mines & Works or Factories/ Mine Managers Certificate
• Project Management Professional qualification
• 10 years’ experience in a mining environment
• Accreditation and Registration with Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Management Development Programme /Master’s in Business Administration
• Advantageous: Engineering Council of South Africa Membership (ECSA)

Job Description

• A well-established mine based in Northern Cape is looking for an experienced, motivated, self-driven Mine Overseer to join their team

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12
• Diploma / Degree in Mining Engineering
• Mine Overseer’s Certificate of Competency
• Blasting Certificate
• Minimum of 8 years’ hard rock mining production management experience
• 3 years must have been on Mine Overseer level
