    Trust Administrator

    Minimum level of Education/ Qualifications Required:

    • Matric and
    • National Diploma in Trusts and Estates Administration or Office Administration and/or
    • Other relevant qualification.

    Work Experience:

    • 2 to 3 years Trusts administration
    • General administrative, personal assistant, and reception experience within a professional, client-facing environment
    • Deceased Estates Administration experience would be an advantage
    • Experience dealing with senior management and clients

    Position Overview:

    Trust Administration

    • Banking including opening of bank accounts, FICA compliance, and administering bank accounts
    • Assembling and delivering (physical or digital) document bundles for the Master
    • Maintain and file original client documentation
    • Schedule Annual General Meetings, drafting and circulating of agenda’s and other supporting documents, minute-taking.
    • Drafting and maintaining Ultimate Beneficial Ownership and Accountable Institution registers for Trusts

    Personal Assistant and general administration

    • Client liaison
    • Attending to correspondence on behalf of the director
    • Scheduling appointments
    • Updating the Director’s timesheets and attending to the preparation of invoices
    • Registration and deletion of clients – assisting with take-ons and FICA compliance, as well as pack-ups
    • Invoicing

    Financial Accountant

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • BCom or Honours Degree (Accounting or Financial Accounting)
    • SAIPA training contract completed or qualified
    • 3 – 5 year's experience in a similar role

    Main purpose of the role:

    • Provide accounting services to Moore clients
    • Ensure clients accounting records are accurately maintained and all compliance is met
    • Produce management accounts to balance sheet
    • Compile Annual Financial Statements of various entity types
    • Taxation of Companies, Close Corporations and Trusts
    • Maintain and develop client relationships
    • Correspond with South African Revenue Services regarding queries, verifications and audits

    Tax Administrator

    Minimum Requirements

    • Matriculation with Mathematics and Accounting
    • At least 2 years’ experience within a similar role
    • Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel)
    • Experience would be advantageous
    • Be proactive
    • Excellent planning and organising skills
    • Quality and detail orientated

    The duties will include but are not limited to the following:

    • Updating of registered data on SARS e-filing
    • Updating of Banking details (RAV01) & submission of requested documentation online
    • Updating of Public officers details online
    • Name changes (RAV01)
    • Attending to year end changes, as advised by the Secretarial Department
    • Attending to client correspondence/emails/telephonic queries
    • Issuing of Provisional tax letters and the follow up of any payments due
    • Issuing of Assessment letters and the follow up of any payments due/refunds
    • Scanning and uploading of AFS and Tax computations to SARS via SARS e-filing/ online query system
    • Submission of tax returns for Individuals, trusts ,companies (IT12 ,IT12TR ,IT14)
    • Estates - registering of post death for Income Tax and the submissions of the IT 12 returns
    • Submissions of DTR01 & DTR02 forms
    • Foreign Tax Clearance applications
    • Customs Registrations
    • Tax Exemptions applications
    • Booking of SARS appointments on the client’s behalf & the preparation of the necessary documentation as well as resolving SARS queries via SARS appointments
    • Trust online Income Tax registrations
    • VAT & PAYE registrations on e-filing
    • Deregistrations of Income Tax, VAT and PAYE with SARS
    • Efiling registrations / registration of new clients and the transfers of the profiles
