Key Responsibilities:

Design and Architecture:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable AWS architecture designs.
• Develop cloud infrastructure solutions that align with business goals and industry best practices.
• Design and implement high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery strategies.

Implementation and Deployment:

• Configure and deploy AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, etc., based on project requirements.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Monitoring and Optimization:

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for AWS infrastructure using tools like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS Config.
• Conduct regular performance analysis and optimization of AWS resources to ensure cost efficiency and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of cloud services.

Security and Compliance:

• Implement security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) for AWS environments.
• Configure and manage AWS security services such as AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), AWS WAF, AWS Shield, etc.
• Conduct security assessments and audits, and remediate vulnerabilities in AWS infrastructure.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

• Document architecture designs, configurations, and procedures for AWS infrastructure.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
• Stay updated with AWS services, features, and best practices, and share knowledge with the team.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer with a focus on AWS services.
• Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts and principles.
• Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, etc.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, version control, etc.).
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards for cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS certification(s) such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, etc.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
• Experience with serverless computing architectures.
