    Counter Sales Clerk

    He/she will also be required to:

    • Taking telephonic orders, processing orders and following through to the delivery stage.
    • Contacting customers for orders and specials
    • Checking market for pricing structures
    • Assisting customers in the shop and at the sales counter
    • Data capture and general admin duties
    • Handling of cash
    • Sourcing and buying out of stock, non-standard items
    • Assisting with quarterly stock takes
    • Assisting in other areas should the need arise

    Asset Tracker

    Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Visually inspecting all the bins (roll on, skip and rocker bins) at Waste Control, Bofors Yard and Christian Avenue
    • Accurately produce bin reconciliation reports – daily, weekly and monthly reporting
    • Accurately Identifying and assessing damaged bins
    • Load the repairs on maintenance system (C-works)
    • Arrange repairs with the Engineering Boilershop
    • After completion of repairs ensure that bins are brought back into circulation
    • Check Waste Control bin usage and ensure bin availability at all times
    • Assist with ad-hoc duties in the transport department as and when required

    Code 14 Drivers - JHB

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    • Responsible for the vehicle and load
    • Daily inspection of the vehicle and to report all faults
    • Loading and off-loading various material and equipment
    • Ensure adherence to the Road Traffic Act
    • Ensure the safety of other road users
    • Abide by the regulations as set out in Occupational Health and Safety Act, company policies and the regulations of the road
    • Navigate your way around Gauteng and surrounding areas

    QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE

    • A minimum Grade 12 certificate
    • Valid, unendorsed Code 14 license with valid PDP

    • Operating a Mounted Grab Crane, skip or RoRo will be an advantage

    General Assistant- Kraaifontein

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The General Assistant (GA) will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:

    • Housekeeping: Ensuring the cleanliness of all work stations and areas surrounding them
    • Accurately sorting of material,

    Code 10 Driver Copperworks

    The Transport Division requires a Code 10 Driver who will be responsible for driving the Copperworks truck. Tasks include, amongst others:

    • Delivery of ordered products to Customers in a safe, courteous and timely manner
    • Establish and maintain positive relations with customers
    • Daily inspection of the vehicle and to report all faults
    • Preparing, loading and offloading the delivery vehicle whilst meeting delivery deadlines

    RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Day-to-day inspection of the vehicle and to report any faults

    Site Manager

    The successful incumbent will be responsible for the below:

    • Will be appointed as a 2.6.1 manager by the 3.1 Mine manager.
    • Will be reporting daily directly to the project manager.
    • Observe and enforce all codes of practices, instructions, guidelines, directives, permissions, exemptions and other similar instructions, which should be communicated to you in writing by the project manager and the mine.
    • Be responsible for proper discipline of all persons under your charge.
    • Provide and maintain a working environment that is safe and without risk to the health and safety of employees within your area of responsibility.
    • Assist the H&S Officer in identify relevant hazards and assess the related risk within your areas of responsibility.
    • Written reports weekly on progress to the project manager.
    • Monitor the communication groups and report accordingly.
    • Efficient daily, weekly and monthly planning.
    • Be responsible for the booking of dispatch loads and collections from different areas on the mine.
    • Managing the loading and cutting of scrap in your area.
    • Providing professional, efficient and accurate feedback to the project manager.
    • Monitoring the progress of the project and adjusting goals to achieve optimal profitability in collaboration with the project manager
    • Ensuring machinery and equipment is in good working order and is maintained as per maintenance schedules.
    • Be responsible to do over inspections and report any deviations to the project manager.

    Qualifying experience:

    • Matric / Grade 12
    • HIRA certification
    • Diploma or degree in Project management will be an added advantage
    • Previous experience in a managerial role is essential
    • Previous demolition experience an added advantage
    • 3 years’ working experience in production, heavy engineering or mining environment
    • Knowledge of processing ferrous and non-ferrous materials
