    KDP CS Team Manager , Kindle Direct Publishing

    DESCRIPTION

    • The Team Manager is accountable for creating a high performance culture that motivates associates to demonstrate levels of ownership, accountability and Publisher advocacy that enables a remarkable customer experience. As a front line manager of associates, the Team Manager will regularly monitor key metrics for their team and provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to achieve individual and team goals. The Team Manager is also responsible for interviewing, employee development, supporting training initiatives, process improvements, performance management and team engagement.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Lead a team of Customer Service Agents
    • Working flexible hours including evenings and weekends
    • Responsible for meeting with the team members regularly and conducting 1:1s for performance and career development purposes.
    • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies and procedures. Duties include but are not limited to: interviewing, training, motivating and coaching employees; fostering effective employee career growth and succession planning; planning, assigning and directing work; rewarding and disciplining employees; and effective conflict resolution.
    • Promote a positive team environment. Demonstrates effective communication and cooperation amongst management and peers to manage team workload and morale.

    • Work with staffing agency partners and/or HR teams to recruit top talent.
    • Promotes, plans, performs and implements process improvements. Leads or participates in GEMBA walks.
    • Actively seeks solutions and provides trends & feedback to the Group Manager or Operations Managers to drive technology and operational improvements; interface effectively with internal teams.
    • Serves as a role model by displaying good judgment, positive work ethic, strong interpersonal skills, adherence to policies, and demonstrates a commitment to excellent customer service.
    • Demonstrates appropriate sense of urgency for email response times and phone service levels. Accountable for service level agreements for self and team.
    • Manages and maintains payroll and schedule adherence in payroll system.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • Previous team management experience
    • Proficiency in using MS tools
    • Flexibility to work in an overnight shift environment which includes weekends and public holidays

    WBLP Logistics Specialist

    • The Logistics Specialist reviews data center inventory, in-bound shipments, and ongoing demand to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained in the all locations to support build and repair activities. Working with the Logistics Manager, they create plans to optimize the flow of parts through their lifecycle; tracking inventory location, movement, age, and turns. They work closely with Data Center Operations Technicians and Data Center Engineers to fulfill parts quickly and accurately.
    • They are responsible for accurate data entry and resolving questions from peer organizations. Regular and ongoing communications with vendors to resolve issues and help them understand our business requirements necessitates a high level communicator.
    • Responsibilities include manual tasks, such as assembling, addressing, and arranging for the shipment of merchandise and materials. They may also assist in daily scheduling of deliveries and pick-ups to locations. In handling incoming shipments, he or she have to unpack boxes and verify contents. The Logistics Specialist will be required to keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company.
    • The ideal Logistics Specialist will dive deep into data to understand everything about the data center asset lifecycle. They maintain up-to-date metrics dashboards and will create reports for internal and external suppliers and management as required.
    • Logistics Specialists are expected to understand all aspects of production, adhere to strict safety standards, maintain very high quality, and be willing and able to work on powered equipment (i.e pallet truck or stacker).

    Key job responsibilities
    All physical requirements are expected with reasonable accommodations:

    • Working in a warehouse environment where noise levels can be loud
    • Standing, sitting, and walking for prolonged periods of time.
    • Assisting in loading and unloading shipments.
    • Occasional exposure to extreme cold or hot weather

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • Apprenticeship in Logistics or equivalent
    • Being able to work overtime as required
    • You must be able to lift loads of up to 18 kg and carry them for short distances
    • You might participate in group lifts of 20 kg or more
    • You should be able to push or pull heavy objects into position
    • Work in a noisy environment
    • Able to start May 2023

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Further education in logistic or equivalent
    • Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
    • Strong understanding of shipping & receiving, inventory and warehousing practices.
    • Knowledge of IT Industry would be an advantage
    • Punctuality; excellent organizational skills for orderliness; and ability to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously to ensure department objectives are met
    • Demonstrated positive work attitude & leadership skills ·
    • Demonstrated ability to perform above minimum for extended periods of time
