    Senior Project Manager

    PUROSE

    • The main purpose of the Senior Project Manager is to provide Project Management, according to accepted BankservAfrica policies and standards, in support of BankservAfrica business and product strategies

    You will engage with the following stakeholders:

    • Key stakeholders in Banks
    • Key stakeholders at Regulators (SARB and PASA)
    • Key stakeholders at Banking Council
    • Key stakeholders in other BankservAfrica client organisations/ Retailers
    • Management and Executive Management
    • Business Unit and Product Owners
    • IT Managers and Staff
    • All staff

    Your key responsibilities include:

    • Demonstrate innovative thinking in area of expertise and translate this into business process/ solutions/ working practice improvements
    • Deliver client or company specific projects in line with company standards and in agreement with line manager
    • Responsible for the overall planning, management and completion of Projects and/ or Programs on a wide variety of business units, Programs and Portfolios
    • Design, Develop and Monitor schedules and budgets for assigned projects/Programs
    • Works with customers to develop project scope of work documents/ project and program management plans and schedules.
    • Uses project management skills to manage project /Program resources, identify resource requirements, meet training needs, define project and program deliverables, provide customer satisfaction and reporting structures and ensure quality of projects and programs.
    • Identifies the approach to be used on a given project /Program
    • Manages the project/program and development lifecycles.
    • Implementation and control of project/program change management process
    • Provide input into the Project Office reporting, including updating the Project Management application
    • Overall control, management and reporting on Project/Program Status, Costs, Issues and Risks

    QUALIFICATION / KNOWLEDGE

    • Project Management qualification
    • PMP certification (Must have)
    • Knowledge of Agile Project Development
    • Required computer literacy levels in the MS Office suite and applicable Project Management Applications.

    Experience

    • Experience in ICT Application development
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Project and Program management
    • Experience in Payments and Banking industry will be an advantage

    Head Transactional Fraud Management - (467)

    PURPOSE

    • The main purpose of the Head Transactional Fraud Management is to develop and implement fraud and risk mitigation solutions and to add value to the industry and leverage BankservAfrica’s unique position within the market. The commercialisation of fraud services.
    • To lead the capabilities of Detection, Prevention and Investigations, and to develop and implement a first line of defence response to Fraud across all products and platforms that creates a consistent client experience whilst minimizing external fraud and reducing client friction across all channels.

    You will engage with the following stakeholders:

    • All Divisional Managers
    • Product Owners
    • Project Managers
    • IT
    • Finance Manager
    • Legal, security & compliance
    • Customer banks
    • Retailers, mobile companies, healthcare, insurers
    • Decision Makers / Influencers e.g., SABRIC, PASA, Government etc
    • Vendors and service providers

    Your key responsibilities include:

    • Perform analysis of the market regarding fraud prevention and detection needs, competitor offerings, BankservAfrica capabilities with respect to this, identify gaps, opportunities etc and maintain a 5 year fraud strategy for BankservAfrica.
    • Strategically develop and grow the BankservAfrica authentication services offering with the aim of providing a hub of cost effective and functionality rich authentication-related services to the payments industry
    • Recommend at senior level the proposed product strategies and take accountability for the implementation of such strategies
    • Identify and mitigate key risks to the delivery of objectives and projects and to secure the sustainability of fraud services
    • Ensure that services are of a continually high standard with rigorous processes in place for critical functions

    Qualifications / Knowledge

    • Appropriate degree in a scientific or commercial field, preferably with postgraduate qualification
    • High level technical knowledge of business intelligence, information security and understanding of IT capabilities and risks required
    • Finance and Accounting Post Graduate Degree

    Experience

    • Experience in fraud mitigation and security
    • Minimum 8 years’ experience in fields related to risk mitigation, preferably in financial services
    • More than 10 years experience in managing fraud across client segments, products and channels, with specific experience in external fraud types such as application fraud, impersonation, cybercrime and digital fraud
    • Understands fraud end-to-end and experience in how to identify system issues, data feeds and data management that will affect how Fraud Risk Management receives, interprets and reports on data
