    Information Security Engineer

    You Bring:

    • IT-related diploma/ degree and a technical background is essential;
    • +5 years as a Security Engineer experience;
    • SIEM Exposure;
    • Strong understanding of endpoint security solutions to include File Integrity Monitoring and Data Loss Prevention;
    • Expertise across a variety of security products including firewalls, URL filtering, information security and virus protection;
    • An enthusiasm for staying up to date with the very latest updates about security threats and solutions;
    • Outstanding communication skills that go beyond “tech talk” – the ability to translate complex IT matters to those without an IT background.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Develop information security plans and policies, help plan and carry out BET Software’s information security strategy;
    • Responsible for developing a set of security standards and best practices for BET Software, and recommend security enhancements to management as needed;
    • Assist with developing strategies to respond to and recover from a security breach;
    • Responsible for educating the workforce on information security, through training and building awareness;
    • Conducts periodic scans of networks to find any vulnerability; conduct penetration testing, which simulates an attack on the system to highlight or find any weaknesses that might be exploited by a malicious party;
    • Constantly monitor BET Software’s networks and systems for security breaches or intrusions;
    • Installing of software that helps to notify the organisation of intrusions, and watching out for irregular system behaviour;
    • Investigate security breaches, lead incident response activities to minimise the impact; thereafter lead a technical and forensic investigation into how the breach happened and the extent of the damage, and prepare reports and findings to be reported to management;
    • Report on security status and implementation;
    • Improve monitoring and alerts;
    • Responsible for container security, Patch Management, GPO and Mime Cast administration and reporting;
    • Enterprise knowledge and experience of Sophos End Point Protection Suite (EPO, DLP, Antivirus, Endpoint Encryption);
    • Web security configuration and monitoring.

    Systems Engineer 2

    You Bring:

    • Relevant Degree/Diploma in Information Technology.
    • Internationally recognized Microsoft Certificate.
    • Linux+ or equivalent course.
    • 4+ years in a similar position with a proven track record.
    • Working experience with Asterisk and Avaya Enterprise VoIP services.
    • 2+ years experience writing scripts.
    • Extensive experience/exposure and knowledge of IP networking and protocols.
    • Exposure to EMC SANs, Dell SANs, HP SAN, and RecoverPoint.
    • Writing queries in MSSQL 2012+ using SSMS.
    • Scripting using Perl, TCL language, and Python.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Administration of the Windows/Linux network, including all servers and desktops, and laptops.
    • Maintenance of the Windows Server, Group Policy, Active Directory, and Exchange.
    • Maintenance of all software installations.
    • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity recommendation.
    • Timely installation of patches, updates, and service packs following patch audit assessments.
    • Setting up, configuring, and administration of NMS system(s), e.g. Nagios, NetFlow, Cacti.
    • Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting CCTV solutions.
    • Working experience administering enterprise IP networks in mission-critical, 24x7 environments.
    • Able to conduct research into networking issues and products as required.
    • Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards.
    • Administration, support, and configuration of MS Office O365 for staff.
    • Maintenance of additional complementary functionality for customer sub-sites.
    • Administer and support at enterprise-level Microsoft Exchange infrastructure.
    • Troubleshoot Exchange-related issues when alerted by monitoring software.
    • Providing end-user support for all PC-based hardware, applications, and services.
    • New user setup. Installing, and configuring workstations, software, telephone services, and network printing.
    • Maintain and provide support for all IT infrastructure.
    • Provide tier 1 and tier 2 support and troubleshooting.
    • Troubleshoot OS, network, and storage-related issues.
    • Operational Security, Maintenance and Governance.
    • Perform software upgrades and patches (bios, firmware upgrades, etc.)
    • Troubleshoot various Office 365 issues including connectivity and mobility.
    • Conduct routine monitoring and analysis to include Audit Log Reports evaluation on systems.
    • Work closely with the Senior Engineers to make sure all systems are secure.
    • Extensive experience installing and maintaining VIP Payroll, VIP People, and Pastel Evolution.
    • Extensive exposure to managing backup solutions / optimize current processes as the company grows.
    • Assist where required with Microsoft SAM audit.
    • Management of McAfee End Point Protection Suite (EPO, DLP, Antivirus, Endpoint Encryption).
    • Strong leadership and time management skills to train and support 1st and 2nd level Systems Engineers / 1st, 2nd and 3rd level IT Support Engineers.

    Security Analyst 1

    You Bring:

    • Relevant Diploma/Degree in Information Technology;
    • At least 2 years of previous security operation centre experience, including conducting security investigations;
    • Experience in Information Security or related field;
    • Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques;
    • Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Monitoring security access;
    • Conducting security assessments through vulnerability and penetration testing, and risk analysis;

    • Analysing security breaches to identify the root cause;
    • Continuously updating the company’s incident response and disaster recovery plans;
    • Verifying the security of third-party vendors and collaborating with them to meet security requirements;
    • Responsible for the prevention of crime through the collection, analysis, and reporting of data;
    • Responsible for investigating and documenting any security breaches or attacks for future reference;
    • Ability to install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs;
    • Research and stay aware of current IT security trends and news;
    • Develop company-wide best practices for IT security;
    • Help colleagues install security software and understand information security management;
    • Research security enhancements and make recommendations to management;
    • Install and use software, such as firewalls and data encryption programs, to protect sensitive information;
    • Prepare reports that document security breaches and the extent of the damage caused by the breaches;
    • Involved with creating their organisation’s disaster recovery plan;
    • Use advanced analytic tools to determine emerging threat patterns and vulnerabilities;
    • Maintain an information security risk register, and assist with internal and external audits relating to information security;
    • Assist with the creation, maintenance and delivery of cyber security awareness training for colleagues.
