    Admin Controller - Witbank

    Job Purpose

    • We are looking for an Admin Controller reporting directly to the Service Centre Manager. This role is based in Witbank.

    Responsibilities
    Administration
    Overtime

    • Receive attendance registers of all employees weekly
    • Calculate overtime hours worked weekly.
    • Give to HR Officer for payment on the 10th of each month.

    Debtors/Creditors

    • Record invoices on Maxiprest audit summary file
    • Matching of invoices on a daily basis.
    • Banking of cash and cheques on a daily basis.
    • Reconcile of breakdown account.
    • Sorting out of breakdown queries.
    • Reconcile creditors statements and attach invoices

    General administration work

    • Keep and file records.
    • Typing, faxing, and photocopying of correspondence
    • Filing of correspondence
    • Handling of petty cash.
    • Handling of salary advances.
    • Requesting of petty cash cheque in time for continuous use.
    • Vehicle logbooks monthly summary.

    Switchboard duties

    • Undertake switchboard duties by receiving phone calls if Switchboard Operator is not available or on leave.
    • Assist Management make official phone calls as requested.
    • Ensure messages are received by relevant persons – Reps and Branch Manager.
    • Undertake general office duties related to own job.

    Health and Safety

    • Adheres to Health & Safety standards in the workplace and does not endanger other parties.
    • Complies with the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
    • Ensure Personal Safety Equipment and facilities provided by the company are in good and clean condition.

    General

    • Undertake all reasonable requests and instructions, given verbally or in writing that fall within the parameters of own line of duty.

    Requirements

    • Matric Basic accounting knowledge
    • Computer literacy – MS Word, Excel and Power Point
    • At least 3 years experience in a similar position

    HDV Driver - Kroonstad

    Job Purpose

    • We are looking for a HDV Driver reporting directly to the Branch Manager.
    • This is a Local role, based in Kroonstad.
    • You will assist with the collection and transportation of goods. Maintain good customer relations by providing excellent customer service. Assist with breakdowns even after hours.

    Responsibilities

    • Collection and transportation of goods
    • Client liaison and accurate record keeping of all goods in transit
    • Perform truck/car breakdown service as well as after hour breakdowns
    • Daily vehicle inspection and ensure clean vehicle appearance at all times

    General Worker - Port Elizabeth

    Position Description
    Job Purpose

    • We are looking for a General Worker reporting directly to the Branch Manager. This is a local role, based in Port Elizabeth.
    • You will ensure that all the tyres are maintained.

    Responsibilities
    Tyre Maintenance

    • All vehicles to leave the yard with tyres as per SLA;
    • All vehicles are surveyed at least once a month;
    • Conduct pressure maintenance and correctly capture pressure readings on Survey Sheet;
    • Capture tread depth readings over three sections of the tread area and capture on Survey Sheet;
    • Fit all wheel positions with valve caps and on all dual positions a valve extension;
    • All tyre movements are captured on a Tyre Change Slip;
    • All wheel changes must be done subject to SLA;
    • Remove smooth tyres and match tread, size and status mismatches;
    • Remove tyres with a pressure reading under a 15% of the recommended pressure and check for irregularities;
    • Brand tyres as per Bridgestone Commercial and Client agreement;
    • Torque all wheel positions at least once a month;
    • Report all wheel defects with a Tyre Action Report;
    • Inspect and clean rims before fitting tyres.

    Stock

    • Stock is taken on a daily basis in a Bridgestone Commercial Stock Book;
    • Stock must be taken by size and brand number;
    • Report daily stock to Customer. (Sign off Stock Sheet);
    • All tyres in stock must have a brand number for identification.

    Health & Safety

    • Correctly lift motor vehicle;
    • Utilize correct tools for the job;
    • Correctly fit tyres to rim;
    • Fit wheels on to motor vehicles correctly;
    • Always dressed in Bridgestone Commercial PPE;
    • Handle tools with care and keep them clean at all times;
    • Ensure work area and yard is always clean;
    • Machines & tools are always stored correct and safely;
    • Dressing rooms are always presentable and neat;
    • Ensure that no company property gets damaged;
    • Tyres are neatly packed and clearly marked for easy identification;
    • Comply with the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act;
    • Ensure Personal Protective Equipment and facilities provided by the company are in good and clean working condition.

    Administration

    • Capture tyre survey info in a Bridgestone Commercial Survey Book;
    • Capture all tyre movements in a Bridgestone Commercial Tyre Change Slip Book;
    • All tyres sent to the factory must be captured in a Factory Control Book;
    • Keep a Branding Register of all tyres branded;
    • All paperwork must be stored in a save dry place.

    Customer Liaison

    • Identify all Maintenance Related Problems and report to the customer;
    • Maintain a good working relationship with the customer;
    • Undertake all reasonable requests and instructions, given verbally or in writing that falls within the parameters of own line of duty;
    • Ensure customer satisfaction at all times.

    General Responsibilities

    • Torque wrench spring relax after use;
    • Lubricate impact on daily basis;
    • Drain water traps and compressor daily;
    • Clean and store equipment daily;
    • Compliance to health and safety procedures on site.

    Area Manager

    Position Description

    • The purpose of this role is to provide ongoing assistance to the Franchisees in the form of field back up. In order to provide such assistance, the incumbent will be required to visit each Supa Quick outlet at least once a month. In general, this assistance will include a comprehensive back-up support for the Franchisees, continuous communication with each Franchisee and overall administrative control of the franchise network
    • The incumbent must ensure that the standards, systems and procedures of all stores are maintained. Objectives include promoting the profitability of each region, in-store performance to target as well as local store marketing. The incumbent must monitor and promote achievement of the Bridgestone South Africa incentives and continually strive for brand growth, exposure and credibility. The incumbent must have Regional “ownership” by taking full responsibility of the region.

    Responsibilities

    • Build a successful personal (productive and open) relationship with each Franchisee
    • Management of inter-dealer relationships.
    • Visit each franchise owner on a regular basis, at least once a month.
    • Maintain regular telephonic contact with each franchise owner and always be available to answer calls and advise on an adhoc basis.
    • Complete a field visit report on each franchise outlet upon each visit.
    • Liaise with the Supa Quick General Manager on a regular basis to ensure thorough understanding of goals and objectives, as well as to update the General Manager with any concerns or problems as well as providing information on all important activities in the area.
    • Complete a franchisee evaluation report on each franchisee outlet every six months; with action plans to be implemented within 6 (six) weeks.
    • Complete a Business-on-Show evaluation on every visit.
    • Analysis of and follow-up on ad hoc Mystery Shopper evaluations.
    • Liaison with Franchisee and assistance with resolution of customer complaints.
    • Forwarding of compliments to Franchisees.
    • Overall responsibility for ensuring that all outlets conform to the prescribed corporate specification with regard to exterior and interior appearance; merchandising, staff clothing and good house-keeping.
    • Responsibility for ensuring that the franchise delivery system is properly implemented in each outlet.
    • Maintain all Merchandising Material, Billboards and Displays in accordance with the guidelines provided whilst ensuring that “time-based” messages and material are refreshed regularly.
    • Ensure that all franchisees are informed of national advertising campaigns and that they act in accordance with these campaigns.
    • Assist franchise owner in identifying below-the-line opportunities.
    • Assist Franchisee in local fleet targeting.
    • Facilitate in-store promotions, including supplier events.
    • Ensure that all local advertising is in accordance with the Supa Quick corporate requirements.
    • Advise franchise owner on price strategy.

    Education

    • Minimum Degree in Operations Management, Business Management, Marketing Management

    Experience

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant field.
