    Receiving Supervisor - Maitland

    Key Functional Areas: 

    • Lead and manage the warehouse receiving team.
    • Ensure all ERP systems transactions are accurately and timeously completed.
    • Develop standard operating procedures to increase productivity   
    • Perform regular cycle counts and physical audits to verify physical inventory accuracy against system records. 
    • Identifying and communicating discrepancies or problems related to inventory to relevant stakeholders
    • Monitor inventory levels and call off materials from satellite warehouses as required.
    • Manage the receiving department environment in terms of housekeeping, safety, hygiene and security.
    • Implement stock control best practices / processes in the receiving department to ensure inventory accuracy.
    • Monitor and evaluate daily employee performance to provide data support for performance assessments.
    • Ensure employees understand and comply with policies, procedures and expectations.
    • Generate and review operational reports / statistics.
    • Perform administrative duties as required.
    • Perform incident investigations

    Required prior learning/ experience: 

    • Matric plus relevant tertiary qualification (National Diploma / Degree)
    • A minimum of 3-years’ experience in a Supervisory role, preferably in a food processing environment.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, organization, and customer service skills
    • Excellent administration skills
    • Proactive nature with good business sensibility 
    • Strong multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced working environment
    • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (Syspro)
    • Computer literacy - Office 365
    • Own transport

    Finished Goods Warehouse Supervisor - Westlake

    Key Functional Areas:

    • Coordinate the execution of the Finished Goods warehouse activities.
    • Lead and manage the warehouse team.
    • Execute stock control best practices and company processes to ensure inventory accuracy
    • Plan and coordinate work schedules to ensure available stock is picked and ready as required.
    • Monitor and evaluate daily employee performance.
    • Maintaining HSE, Food Safety and security standards in the work environment

    Required prior learning/ experience:

    • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
    • Previous experience in a warehouse Team Leader/Supervisor or similar role.

    • Ability to work independently with a proactive nature.
    • Strong multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced working environment
    • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Outlook.
    • Experience using Syspro will be to your advantage.

    Packaging Warehouse Supervisor - Montague Gardens

    Key Functional Areas:

    • Supervise and lead the warehouse picking team.
    • Coordinate the daily shopfloor activities.
    • Conduct routine cycle counts.
    • Manage the warehouse environment in terms of housekeeping, safety, hygiene and security.
    • Ensure all shopfloor stock control procedures and processes are fully adhered to, to ensure inventory accuracy.
    • Monitor and evaluate daily employee performance to provide data support for performance assessments.

    • Perform administrative duties as required.

    Finished Goods Warehouse Manager - Montague Gardens

    Key Functional Duties:

    • Manage and lead the warehouse team.
    • Measure and improve effectiveness of activities and employee performance.
    • Supervise the operations in the finished goods warehouse.
    • Drive continuous improvement in the department.
    • Utilize ERP system and reports to improve and control stock levels and movements.
    • Implement stock control best practices / processes to ensure inventory accuracy.
    • Ensure ERP system transaction accuracy.
    • Liaise with internal departments and customers regarding sales order statuses.
    • Plan and coordinate work schedule to ensure customer service levels are achieved.
    • Maintaining department standards in line with the company Food Safety and HSE programmes.
    • Perform administrative duties as required.
    • Accountable for inventory integrity and accuracy.

    Required knowledge and Skills:

    • Proven leadership and management skills.
    • Sound working knowledge of ERP/ WMS systems.
    • Verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Ability to build cross functional relationships with colleagues and customers.
    • Strong multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced working environment.

    Required Education/ Experience:

    • BCom in Logistics/ Supply Chain and/ or Level 4 CIPS qualification.
    • FMCG Warehouse Management experience and + 4 years’ experience within a similar role.
    • Experience or strong interest in using ERP systems.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
